Ooo! I play that although something gives me impression my score isn't very high as opposed to Ditty's. It could be though if I thought about a lot of my moves  

I play against a friend who regularly gets over 500,000 - I average about a hundred and something!! How many has Ditty scored?

Dittys latest score on FB is 570,600 .................mine is 323,500 I'm over the moon with that - I never ever beat Ditty though!

Ditty gets over 500,000 too Rexi...... I feel good if I get into the late 200,000s

It was Bejewelled twist I was thinking of, but I'm sure I've played Blitz too

My most important tip would be..    be really really careful.    I did myself a proper injury when I was really addicted to it.    You get "the claw"..   when you can't open your hand properly.

Tips in terms of getting a high score... 

laptop mouse pads are easier than using a mouse.

use the three power ups on the left hand side  (scrambler, + 5 seconds, & bonus multiplier)..     and only bother buying the phoenix prisms & cats eyes power ups.

and..   try & relax..     if I consciously think "oooh I have to get a high score" I panic..     I get high scores when I kinda go into the zone on autopilot and am thinking about other things 

However...   the highest scores I have ever had have definitely been down to getting the odd game where everything just goes mental...   Every now & then you get a really explosive board.

It's taken me all week to get to 218,000

I usually get over 500,000 each week..    my all time high score was over 800,000 

Its not good for laptop mouse pads though...      it knackers them right up

Zuma Blitz is good too

I am currently top of my Zuma leaderboard too (although I am the only one ON my Zuma leaderboard )

I have been enjoying being able to play these games again on daughters brand new laptopamabob!

When I was properly addicted I would actually be late collecting the boy from school cos I would be "just one more game" 

I'm pretty much over the addiction stage now..   I only play it cos hubby plays it & I have to make sure I have a higher score than he does 

Oh no Ditty ... I refuse to even try another game - I might get drawn in

I'm like that with the 'ordinary' game. I need my nightly fix 

I used to play the full Bejewelled games before I signed up on Facebook.

Blitz is the free facebook version..   you get 1 minute to play each game.  (it never does that annoying "No more moves" thing that the full games do which is good..     itty bitty bit of pooter screen to play in is annoying when compared to the full game)

I love the full versions of Bejewelled..   the "feel" of it is fab.  You don't get that with the FB Blitz version.

I know that feeling.

I have resisted getting Animal Crossing for the Wii on account of losing 4 whole months of my life to the Nintendo DS version (I even had a daily log book I used to keep religiously every day)

Ditty .........your tips have gone whooooooooooooooooosh right over my head. I will look again. I only ever use the Phoenix Prism (when I have enough coins) but then I get all excited over the sparkly bits and lose it!

Baz...   do you only play on the iPhone?

I used to play Luxor on the computer ... I had to give up on Luxor2 after spending about 6 months trying to complete the last level

me too!   a bit!!     You have to just try really really hard to forget you are playing a phoenix prism game...   back to the "try to relax & go into the zone" thing again

tbh...   the really really big scores definitely come cos you just get lucky and get a board that just explodes ..     its not so much skill, as luck of the set up of the gems.

I too used to be dead chuffed with a score of 300,000 plus...    back then it was Cinds who used to get the mega scores...    I could never work out how she did it.

Guess its just practice...  

I've just had a look at my scores. My Blitz score is hopeless, although I don't play that a lot, I'm on six hundred and ninety odd thousand on ordinary and I can't remember on Twist  

yes i do - thank you very much - I'm not really sure how to reciprocate - it's all a bit  with the cancel/save/share. But they are very much appreciated

nah...  you don't need to worry about sending them back...   MrD & I bounce gift requests backwards & forwards to each other so we usually have a healthy stack of coins.

I just wanted to make sure I was sending them to people who actually wanted them

I got stuck & fed up at Level 50 something and stopped playing for AGES!
