I thought it was the first series repeated on BBC1 - is it a new one then?
Thanks Heartache!
It's not a new series, it's the original one shown on BBC3 a few months ago. If anyone hasn't seen it though they should give it a go. It's excellent.

Yes it was really good. but that really is a crock to show it as a new series. Dam, sorry folks.
I think it is the second series which was aired earlier this year on BBC3.
Thanks for the tip off in case it isn't!

True Blood is brilliant,i'm loving it,i wish it was on every night!
If you would like more of Aidan Turner (Mitchell) he's currently in Desperate Romantics on BBC2.

I admire your restraint,i'd have watched the lot in one go,i'm watching it on FX once a week,i made the mistake of watching the new series of House and NCIS ages ago after finding them available on the internet and it's now left me without things to watch weekly!
Enjoy True Blood Mummy Maz
There was a pilot episode (which now does not form part of the canon.
There has been one series (which included the back stories from the pilot episode.)
This is now being repeat on BBC1 (episode 1 tonight.)
They have just started making the second series.
They met the other day to do the first script read-throughs.
It is planned to show the second series early next year.
I think this was one of the best new dramas on television for a very long time. An excellent programme in my opinion.

It was just as good as I remembered,
I just follow my moral code
Reminder:
Tonight BBC3 (or rather tomorrow 30th) 2.a.m. = Being Human 1st 3 episodes.
Tomorrow 1.30 a.m. = 2nd 3 episodes.
This is to get us back in the mood ready for the brand new series which starts on 10th January I believe.

Thanks for the reminder, Brisket. Can't wait. I'm hoping we get another series of 'Desperate Romantics' too. If you haven't explored it, you might like the BH homepage on BBC3. http://www.bbc.co.uk/beinghuman/
Thanks s a p girl for the link.That's a good website.
I like the fact that the 3 main actors get along so well off the set. I expect their good relationship plays a part in the good results we see on screen.

Very likely, Brisket...they do seem genuinely fond of each other and it shows. The fab writing helps too. The writers drafted the characters so well but the actors really fleshed them out into believable people with solid 'back stories'..
Watching it now and loving it all over again.
Spotting more humour this time round.
I like the way Mitchell protects the television set when he suspects there is to be upheaval in the house.
Viewing again confirms, for me, that it deserved the praise.

New series is not disappointing. Proving to be as good as ever.
The BBC has also commissioned a 3rd series for the autumn.

3rd series? Excellent. Glad to see it's a hit in the US too - the British Trueblood apparently but as much as I like Stephen Moyer Trueblood this is far better. The TV series bears virtually no resemblance to the books.
Very much liking the new George. Ears and all. Gives one something to hang onto.

Thanx for the bump i forgot it was on tonight and would have been annoyed if i'd missed it
Another smashing episode.
It gets better each week.
It gets better each week.
I was really confused by last nights episode, too many story lines happening at one time, still enjoyed it though.
Splendid stuff.
Improving every week.
Ended with an excellent twist tonight!....

Being Human on BBC3 at 9 p.m. tonight.
In the last ever South Bank Show at 10.15 - Being Human, Red Riding and Collision are the 3 short-listed programmes in the best TV drama series category.
I know the result but I won't spoil it for the benefit of those people who like watching awards shows "as they unfurl."
Being Human itself is thrilling me more with each new episode.

I am loving it every week. I was out last week but when I got home found the ease of watching it on BBC i player
Series 3 starts on BBC3 in February - I see production has moved to Cardiff from Bristol. We're getting rather spoiled here what with BH, Dr Who, Torchwood, Merlin AND Pobol y Cwm.

Just as you think it couldn't get any...... it does!
Wonderful stuff.

I was mooching around on the BH forum - on the BBC webpage yesterday and a few people were really unhappy with the way things are going this series.
I think they liked it when the 3 were together rather than running 3 storylines.
