Hiya darlo wavey

If she is up against just Marcus, then yes she has to go. If it is the others, I would rather see Lisa or David go.

Nod or Hira, there is a possibility she could go over both now looking at the odds and polls though she's skating on thin ice at the moment Big Grin.

I have just been catching up reading the last 5 pages of this thread..
I`d just like to say that, even with many varied opinions on this subject, everybody has posted with courtesy and respect for other forumers even when disagreeing.
I personally think that an influence in this regard may be the way we are treated by our hosts and moderators here. There is a lot of mutual trust goes on and I think that is well demonstrated by our manner of posting.
(There are exceptions of course, but I think this thread is a pretty good example of good forum practice.)
I like you all. Hug

Bea "well i dont consider myself a hippy really" Well thats not what you said in your VT. She is the one who has been saying that she is a hippy.

Bea "Why are we having this conversation".

All this because Bea says she's embarassed, he apologizes to her for ''embarassing'' Bea but Bea apparently said they were just basically hippies who fancied each other.

Bea doesn't want to have this conversation, people are watching. She says she is a friend and is sorry if she gave the impression she may have fancied him by being a friend and showing affection.

He looked so gutted Frowner, so nasty of her Mad.

Sounds like we have another *I like you as a friend scenario* Roll Eyes I have gone right off Freddie lately, but can see how he got the wrong impression... seeing as how she stuck to him like a limpit for the first week !!

Have heard her say that she is ,'a bit of a hippie.' It makes me cross when some people on this forum criticise her for being a 'faux hippie' as if it's some static religious cult with expectations of compliance in dress, behaviour etc. etc. that has to match a 1960s 'stereotype' (i.e. completely agaisnt the concept Laugh)
Would any of you 'young 'uns' want to be a prototype of your parents/grandparents, or would you want to take some of what they have and that you admire/ believe in and create a version of yourself/ an individuality with that in mind?
Bea doesn't fancy Freddie,(said it from Day 1,) that doesn't mean that she can't LIKE him.. he may be 'sweet' but, sorry, female fm could you actually FANCY him????? (exception clause for Mary Bee )

Super did we not see enough of this with Noirin? Bea when she came in was all hippy dippy, that dress, all the accessories. It was quite clear that she was making a point of being a hippy chick. She then made a beeline Big Grin for Freddie and proceeded to cling to him like a burr to a blanket (the polite version). Can you honestly blame Freddie for thinking he has found a soul mate? This is exactly what Noirin has done throughout. You are my best friend, oh that guy won't leave me alone, I just need my own space, we are just friends. Surely we can't be blind enough not to see it when Bea is doing it now?

So agree with you, as far as l'm concerned, she like a more intelligent, articulate Noirin, who wears knickers.

I've not seen Bea and Freddie kissing under the duvet. Bea still wants to be Freddie's friend but now she realises he's gone to an emotional level that she hasn't she's making that clear so he doesn't misunderstand what their friendship is about.

I am amazed at how the men in the house, in particular Freddie, seem to be unable to accept what is blindingly obvious as far as women are concerned. It is almost the very misconceived
notion that when a woman says "no" she can mean yes. Or are they just so smitten that their delusions overtake reality?

I think when someone feels an attraction for a person they look for any signals which gives them hope or feedback that the attraction is mutual. Sree, Marcus and Siav got confused by Noirin's signals because they were confusing, even to onlookers.

With Freddie it's similar but I don't think exactly the same as I've never seen Bea kissing him or openly flirting with him, I think Bea's idea of friendship is different to Noirin's. Their relationship seems to have started as 2 people with similar social interests but there's also the intellectual level. Freddie became smitten not realising Bea didn't see him in that way as she said several weeks ago when others told her they could see how he felt. I'm glad I'm happily married and out of the chasing game lol.

I blame that Sienna Miller for all this false hippy stuff. Just because she wore a few long skirts and swirly scarves that doesn't make her a hippy. People like Bea latch on to this sort of rubbish, thinking it is cool. In the process, they make a laughing stock of themselves. I wasn't quite a hippy but I was there, and I know about it. Therefore, I can comment about it. Why don't these young women think of something original, instead of harking back to things they know absolutely nothing about but just make it up as they go along, and they look stupid with all the retro BS they spout. They should try creating something for the Twentyfirst Century instead, something original.

With regard to the Bea/Freddie disagreement, she has done him a favour. Bea is more a wasp than a bee. She stings deeper. While she is busying herself falling out with people, Freddie can return to the lovely sparkly boy that we remember. He has survived much worse rejection in the BB house in the past eight weeks, and he will survive this.

Freddie has made a mistake. Shall we ask for a Pierrpoint to come and hang him for an error of judgment just because some false hippy has latched onto him? I think not. Freddie is a good lad, and a decent lad. Bea's presence does not make him less of a good or decent lad. Just a silly lad for allowing himself to be fooled by someone who tries to fool us into thinking that her hippy-chick credentials are real. They are not.

That's the impression I get too stonks ... but while it's safe for her to articulate her dislike of David, she knows she can't do the same thing with Freddie because of his popularity outside the house ... it's the ONLY reason she made a beeline for him at the beginning ...

I hate that also Mimi, but it is nice that they never indulge it. Siavash and Marcus in particular never ever have a bad or negetive word to say about him. It's her own doing that she went in to the house and acted like a kindred spirit, floating around and pressing all the right buttons with him (which was EASY) and now realises what a mistake it was to do too much too soon and can't extract herself easily. It's so obvious she can't bear him to be anywhere around her now.

hi shar x I have to admire her for telling him out straight, but she did leave it a bit late and only after she allowed him to think something was going on. She got herself established in the house on the back of Freddie's popularity. Fortunately for Freddie, he was already an established presence in the house before she arrived and, from my point of view, she is nothing more than a buzzy fly to be swatted away, hopefully this Friday.
