Bea/Freddie video

Bea to Freddie in bed "You are talking rubbish and i dont like you"

Freddie "Here me out''.

Bea "well i dont consider myself a hippy really" Well thats not what you said in your VT. She is the one who has been saying that she is a hippy.

Bea "Why are we having this conversation".

All this because Bea says she's embarassed, he apologizes to her for ''embarassing'' Bea but Bea apparently said they were just basically hippies who fancied each other.

Bea doesn't want to have this conversation, people are watching. She says she is a friend and is sorry if she gave the impression she may have fancied him by being a friend and showing affection.

He looked so gutted Frowner, so nasty of her Mad.

It seems that Freddie used the word "fancy".
Bea didn`t like the use of that word.
Freddie apologised.
But Bea seemed quite definite, and Freddie seemed quite disturbed that he had put his foot in it so to speak.
Now I only hope that tomorrow he does not go grovelling and trying to put things back where they were.
I hope a bit of thinking time might help him to strike a more reasonable balance in their relationship. A chance for Freddie to get rid of the rose-tinted spacs and see their relationship in a more level-headed and realistic way.
That would be a good thing. Freddie needs to retrieve that distinct individuality he has shown.
Fingers crossed that this little incident may have benefits.

It was short and clear really.
Bea made it plain that she had boundaries.
Freddie was subdued by it and I suspect embarrassed.
I don`t know how it will play out.
I hope Freddie takes it as an opportunity to re-group.
I don`t see it as a right or wrong situation. It was a relationship that was not properly mutual, so maybe this will help.

Now he should take the message and stay clear of her, be polite with her as to not give her reason to bitch about him but just keep his distance from her from now on.

Which VT?
I don't remember Bea ever saying that she is a 'hippie,'(could be wrong?)
Have heard her say that she is ,'a bit of a hippie.' It makes me cross when some people on this forum criticise her for being a 'faux hippie' as if it's some static religious cult with expectations of compliance in dress, behaviour etc. etc. that has to match a 1960s 'stereotype' (i.e. completely agaisnt the concept Laugh)
Would any of you 'young 'uns' want to be a prototype of your parents/grandparents, or would you want to take some of what they have and that you admire/ believe in and create a version of yourself/ an individuality with that in mind?
Bea doesn't fancy Freddie,(said it from Day 1,) that doesn't mean that she can't LIKE him.. he may be 'sweet' but, sorry, female fm could you actually FANCY him????? (exception clause for Mary Bee )

That FRIENDS word is causing more upset than anything this year.

Its a contraversial subject - WHAT EXACTLY DOES IT MEAN AND DO MEN AND WOMEN INTERPRET IT DIFFERENTLY?

Noireen and Bea say they want to be friends but get under the covers and cuddle - don`t they realise that men`s genitalia are on the outside of their body and that a lot of men perceive cuddling so closely as a bit of a come on.

She has told him that she doesn't fancy him, found his talk 'sleazy', wtf is wrong with the men in there??? I like Freddie, but he ain't listening. I know, I know I dissed Noreen, but can see a similar pattern here. It honestly makes me cringe when Freddie talks about how frustrated he is. Do me a favour Freddie and shut up. Sick it's enough to make you turn Eeker

I hope he can talk this through with Marcus and Siavash, they can help him see Bea for what she is.

Super did we not see enough of this with Noirin? Bea when she came in was all hippy dippy, that dress, all the accessories. It was quite clear that she was making a point of being a hippy chick. She then made a beeline Big Grin for Freddie and proceeded to cling to him like a burr to a blanket (the polite version). Can you honestly blame Freddie for thinking he has found a soul mate? This is exactly what Noirin has done throughout. You are my best friend, oh that guy won't leave me alone, I just need my own space, we are just friends. Surely we can't be blind enough not to see it when Bea is doing it now?

Two of the girls they put in the house this year have been sending "I really fancy you" signals at all the guys in there! That's why there are so many confused guys in there this year.

Bea headed straight for freddie when she went into the house ... she knew he was popular and figured it would be to her advantage to get close to him ... She's now in the sticky situation of realising that she doesn't actually like him and doesn't want to be anywhere near him ... it's not a matter of fancying him - she actually dislikes him at this stage, but she will never come out and openly say that ...

Unfortunately Freddie can't see past his raging hormones to pick up the vibes ...

Exactly darlo ... he was a means to an end to her ... unfortunately he turned into a puppy along the way and it's cringeworthy at this stage ... I really wish he would wake up and smell the coffee ... Disappointed

Nah, the guys have taken cuddles as a green light for a relationship.

Don't know about you but personallyme, i'd need clearer signals than a cuddle before declaring my love.

To the bit in bold... Are you a mind reader? I've seen/heard no evidence that she dislikes him.

She's told Freddie that she didn't like him talking sleazy and now she's told him that she doesn't fancy him. So how is that behind his back?

Everyone was up in arms because Noirin never blatantly told Sree/Marcus that she didn't fancy them. Now Bea does say it to Freddie, she's a bitch? Weird!

I feel so sorry for Bea. It must be a maddening experience being in such a confined space and then being followed around everywhere by a lost little boy. I think it's commendable that she's letting halfwit know where he stands. Halfwit is trying to window-dress his filthy disgusting lewdness in the garbs of faux-artistic circumlocution, but she's having non of that nonsense. Good on her.

No I'm not a mind reader ... but her body language says it all ... plus the sniping she's been doing behind his back ... always qualified with a comment such as 'I really like him' or 'He's so sweet' ... one of these days she's going to forget to add the disclaimer and show her true feelings ....

Oh sorry ... IMO of course .... Thumbs Up

Her body language shows that she's irritated with him being her shadow. That is all. She's asked him for space, no biggy.

Sniping behind his back or discussing with a mate what she should do about the situation?

I'd go with the latter.

That makes no sense when weve seen her say the same to his face?

I've not seen her say the same things to his face that she's said behind his back to marcus and siavash .... If she did, then even freddie in besotted state would see right through her ... IMO ...
