Loving Bea so far
I agree fookat. I'm constantly changing my mind on her, but she definitely adding a bit of spice to the show.
I like her, too.
She's definitely growing on me
she aint all sweetness and light - but by God shes telling people whats what whether they like it or not!
All she does is use her outside knowledge of the show and the perception of it to enable her to create a position of power for herself in the house. I think she is interfering and patronising, trying to get a foot in every story going on in the house. She pretends to be a group player but really she just wants to hog as much camera time as she can for herself. Unfortunately Endemol want to help her in doing that.
I don't like her, but I agree she's stirring things up nicely, and in a very subtle way too. Plotting seeds of doubt here and there and letting them grow. Very cunning.
I would love a friend like Bea, honest and loveable, everybody needs a Bea!
There is a fanclub folks.

Agreed...and I think Tom knocking her back when she asked to get in bed together hit her deep.
I have liked BEA since she went in, and was baffled by the tirade of hatred towards her a few days ago. I can only think that some people don't like a woman that is strong, assertive, smart, intellectual AND tall blonde and attractive.quote:Originally posted by fookat:

I imagine the men that dislike her see her as a threat because she is scary and probably more intelligent than them, and would make mincemeat out of them. And the females that dislike her are plain jealous, because they wish they were like her: Smart, strong, assertive AND tall and attractive.
I wish *I* was like her, but I am not jealous: I just admire her

Yes I'm with you on that one and she gets on my fookn wick
I like her too and also can't really understand the negativity towards her. I can really relate to her as I find a lot of similarities in our views on things and interests.

Agreed Spidey.
I like Bea - she tells it how it is - nothing wrong with that!!
She reminds too much of know it all girls that used to lord it around boarding school..not genuine..
If she'd been an original house-mate I'd be more interested in her opinion, but she's not.
She's seen too much of them to form a credible opinion.
She also spouts a lot of what she thinks people want to hear , and not what she really thinks.

I agree, and I think that is why some dislike her, because she is not afraid to speak up and DOES tell it like it is, and she is assertive and strong. Some people are jealous and threatened by people like that. Mostly because they wish they were like that themselves, but can't or won't admit to it.. They just prefer to berate and critisize people who ARE like Bea.quote:Originally posted by Jeanoj:

She is playing a great game and I applaud her for that.
I would not like her as a friend I hope she dont win..quote:Originally posted by Senora Reyes:quote:Originally posted by ŅÏÎđâŅŅОÏηКŅÎģ:

I think she is conniving and a stirrer... and her little miss hippy innocent stance is simply making... IMO

Not why I dislike her. I don't trust her.
