Aarons Mum has left another message on his fan page

HI everyone, Aaron has given us a huge rollercoaster ride and we have loved every minute of it. The hardest part was having to put up with all the unwarranted negative comments. We accept people will not like Aaron but some of the comments were not needed. The only thing that has kept us going is all you poppets out there. We would like to thank you all for your support through votes and messages. Aaron will always be a winner to us whatever the outcome tonight. I hope you all have a good night to night and lets get the bubbly ready. x x

Day 64: Tom-igy

It’s the final morning for the housemates in the Big Brother House, with all of the housemates leaving in tonight’s final show. As such, the housemates are trying to keep to their daily routines, with Aaron enjoying his morning tea, Alex doing her make up in bed and Jay and Louise farting. However, a mood has taken the House and the housemates are quite clearly buzzing with excitement, from last night’s eviction and the impending final tonight.

Alex and Louise have been comparing the mood to “Christmas”, whilst also talking about how they felt when they heard the crowd reactions last night. Alex said “I just can’t believe people would take their money and vote for me.” Louise added “I know, it’s mad.”

Even though the energy is running high the thought of tonight’s eviction, the House seems a lot quieter without “we-get-it!” Brummie Tom. Alex is definitely missing her BFF and has created a stand-in for Tom, using a balloon, nail varnish and furry cardigan.

Don’t fret ‘Hon’, you’ll be reunited with your buddy tonight, and the two will be able to ‘skank out’ to their hearts content.

Presenter Brian Dowling has offered hope to fans of Big Brother's axed live feed, claiming that Channel 5 should take a look at bringing back the 24-hour access when the show returns in the New Year.

Channel 5 opted not to offer live feed to fans of the show this year, replacing it with extra Facebook and Twitter content. The channel's controller Jeff Ford claimed that the show has "moved on" from the 24-hour access to housemates.

Speaking about the controversial decision, host Dowling admitted that he had sympathy for the show's hardcore fans.

"All I can say is, the fans obviously want to have the live feed," he told Digital Spy.

"I understand people's views on it and they want to see the real characters and not just the people that Channel 5 shows. But I must add, Channel 5 are just showing you what happened.

"And on the live feed, you couldn't for the large part hear anything. For legal reasons, you can't hear anything a lot of the time. But I do understand the hardcore fans miss it."

He added: "Whether it comes back, I don't know. I know nothing. I only found out about the feed this time, the week before the show started when I was briefed. A lot of people do miss it, so I think it is something Channel 5 need to look at. But I have no power unfortunately."

Dowling said that he was proud of the reality show's performance following its switch from Channel 4 to Channel 5, claiming that the steady ratings proved it was wise investment from the broadcaster's Richard Desmond.

"A lot of people had written the show off, but when it's on Channel 5, it's not the fifth channel anymore. It's sometimes the second channel or even the most-watched channel at that time," he said.

"I know when we've done the Friday night show, we've beaten everything and been the most popular show at that time. We went up against Million Pound Drop on Channel 4 and sometimes we beat it. For Channel 5 to do that is amazing.

"The Celebrity series was averaging three or four million - amazing. I think the normal series has had 1.5 million, sometimes higher, sometimes lower, every night.

"It just proves that there is a fanbase for Big Brother. I think it proves Big Brother on Channel 5 is a hit."

Brian Dowling excited about Aaron's final interview

Dowling claimed that he was still confused about the controversial housemate, who has divided viewer opinion with his actions on the show.

The Big Brother host said that his interview with Aaron after his eviction was likely to be one of the most fascinating of the series.

"I'm really looking forward to interviewing Aaron. I don't think I know Aaron any more now than when he first went in the house, if that makes sense?" he said.

"I don't know who the real Aaron is. But he makes for a very memorable housemate.

"That's what you want. He's got lots of support out there, passionate support, and that's what you want from a housemate."

Offering his verdict on Aaron's on-off romantic relationship with Faye Palmer in the house, he added: "He says that he loves her, but then he says he would choose other people over her. I find that a bit weird.

"That's exactly what he said. Then he said, he wouldn't put up [with] Alex because she might go. Which is strange as well. Can his relationship with Faye survive? I don't know. It's not a real environment in that house."

Dowling also hit back at criticism that he has been too vocal in his dislike of Aaron on spinoff showBit On The Side, commenting: "I'm entitled to have my say and have my opinion, I'm a former housemate, a fan and a two-time winner."

Asked to rate his performances out of ten on the first celebrity and non-celebrity runs of the show on Channel 5, Dowling added: "Oh God! Nobody has asked me that! Well, I don't read Digital Spyso if there's any hatred there, I don't know about it.

But that aside, without sounding arrogant, the show's done well, people are watching it and the critics have been fairly kind. So I'm going to give myself a six. I'm back again in January, so I must be doing something right."

The Big Brother final airs tonight on Channel 5. Celebrity Big Brother returns in January.

He shud be impartial - his arrogance is disappointing

well I think he is only contracted so far for the three shows so after CBB they might reconsider

I agree - have not been impressed with him as presenter but says it quietly I liked Davina

Emma is ok and would need to be non biased as well and keep the giggling under control
