RATINGS! Big Brother viewing figures hit series low despite four new housemates.

Friday night's highlights saw just 700,000 viewers tuning in, around half of the 1.3 million audience that watched the new series kick off.

It's the lowest rating yet for the show which has been below the 1 million viewer barrier for well over a week now.

Thursday night's live episode, which saw four new housemates enter, had seen a slight boost to recent numbers with 950,000 viewers watching.

However it seems as though the new faces haven't immediately impressed given last night's figures.

Reality rival Love Island on the other hand enjoyed 1.8 million viewers for its Friday episode, matching its all time high from Thursday night.

Evening peeps....watching Antiques Road Show and feeling old looking at a shops Liberty Bodice cabinet and remembering going into shops where my knickers were also encaptured and served from such cabinets........

I was at the Transport Museum in Glasgow last week and it was quite disconcerting to see things from my childhood as museum exhibits.

Having read and posted that ^, I did notice that this morning as I read through the previous evenings postings it looked like there were only three of you posting on the BB thread. So I guess we only have ourselves to blame for the reduction in numbers.

I had a good excuse. My middle son and DiL were visiting and wanted to watch boxing on Sky Sports!

Well, I had a perfect excuse. I had broadband issues which were only resolved around 16:00 hours today.

So I was not using my mobile as I am in Data Saving mode.

However I did watch the show and I was frustrated at not being able to comment. I was proper grrrr'ing at time.
