Sprouts on pizzas next week.........
Bump for tonight's episode. The Karim family from west London go up against the Dawes family from Hampshire. Will the Karims, with their simple Indian recipes, curry favour with Rosemary and Giorgio, or will the Daweses and their ambitious flavour combinations earn them a place in the semi-finals?
Aunt Zakila is queen of the kitchen in the Karims' household, but will her spice mix leave the judges wanting more when they visit the family at home? Ellie Dawes and her scientist boyfriend Sam share a passion for food, but will their bold use of ingredients be a step too far for the judges?
Series moves to Thursdays from next week in order to avoid clashing with you know what on Channel 4.
Thanks El Loro I watched some of it last week ...and will give it another whirl if anyone else is watching
For anyone who can tolerate Nadiya, her series on Mondays is quite watchable. Yesterday, she was in Scotland - her version of a flapjack apple crumble looked rather appetising. She also samples a homegrown Scottish equivalent of a curry.

Sorry El Loro. ....I cannot abide her
I watched a bit of the first episode. To be honest, I can't quite understand why the BBC feel we need 4, yes 4 presenters of this show. The way the show is constructed, we only need the two judges, there is absolutely no need for Ball and Nadiya. Not to mention the money it must be costing the tax payer !!!
Despite the fact that I fancied the woman from Bridlington, I found the show a bit dull, felt like it had been done before in other guises and I was mostly turned off by it.
I gave it a go (of sorts) and very much doubt I will return.
I'm babysitting at work, so had lots of time to write lots of words.

Lovely fluffy rice ...but if they can't cook a curry then they can't cook anything !
I have to admit I am a BOSSY cook in the kitchen, always got my beady eye on whoever is cooking, ready with handy hints on how they could do it better........
Hope she doesn't cook cake when she has a cold!
