Sport Relief 2012 is back and it is bigger and better than ever before. This year's event, in a great year for British sport, brings together the biggest stars and TV brands in a huge celebration to attempt to raise a record amount for Sport Relief.


The night is presented by a star studded line-up including Gary Lineker, James Corden, Claudia Winkleman, Dermot O'Leary, Davina McCall, Fearne Cotton, John Bishop, Miranda Hart, David Walliams and Patrick Kielty. Plus, special editions of Strictly Come Dancing, Miranda, Ab Fab, Twenty Twelve, Benidorm meets Britain's Got Talent, Horrible Histories, Saturday Kitchen, Outnumbered, Never Mind the Buzzcocks, Celebrity Juice, Question of Sport, QI and Mock the Week.


Also, there are live performances from JLS, who sing the Sport Relief single Pride, LMFAO, Snow Patrol, and Emeli Sande, plus Helen Skelton celebrates her astonishing fund raising challenge and Freddie Flintoff and Frank Skinner continue to attempt their own.

The star-studded night of fun and fundraising continues, with stars from across the BBC hoping to raise a record amount for Sport Relief. We hear first-hand how the money raised for Sport Relief is spent helping disadvantaged people both here in the UK and in other parts of the world. Finally, the sporting entertainment marathon climaxes with special versions of top panel shows including Never Mind the Buzzcocks, Celebrity Juice, Question of Sport, QI and Mock the Week.

Following on from the latest series of the ever successful Strictly Come Dancing, finalists Harry Judd and Chelsee Healey reunite with their partners and take to the dance floor... only this time with a very big twist.

 

The dances will all be performed underwater for the first time in Strictly history.
