Final tonight

Format for the final is different to the other episodes. I think it's similar to the final of the last non-celebrity series.

Starts off with Chris's rustle-up challenge which this time is butternut squash.
One of the three goes straight through, the other two have Angela's eliminator round which is a dessert centrepiece featuring choux pastry and caramel.

So it's the last 2 who go through to Mary's ultimate picnic which has a sweet item as well as meat, plant-based and fish dishes.

The BBC page for this series only refers to the celebrity version in it's list of episodes I agree with you on the previous series but think in the first series that all 3 finalists were cooking in the final round.

I’m afraid I can’t think back that far ....I think I was too busy getting annoyed by what I saw as MBs bias .

I don't really remember the first series, the second was better. I think the producers changed the format as the first series didn't quite work. The first series was back in 2018, then a gap before the second series last year.
