Thunderbirds creator Gerry Anderson dies aged 83
NEWHis son Jamie Anderson posted on his blog today that the man behind the classic sci-fi series Thunderbirds had passed away peacefully in his sleep at midday today, Sky News reported. The man who also created Joe90 had battled dementia for the last two years. Anderson came up with the idea for Thunderbirds, a rescue organisation, after a mining disaster in West Germany.

Jack Klugman, who starred in NBC medical drama Quincy, has died at the age of 90.
Klugman's sons Adam and David confirmed that the Emmy award-winning actor passed away on Christmas Eve afternoon (Monday, December 24) in Los Angeles. His wife Peggy was at his bedside.

Never really liked the "Superanimation" series like Captain Scarlet, Thunderbirds and Joe 90 but did like Space 1999, which is generally derided.

Yep, they did mention her, the BBC did another global deaths tribute video. Along with Donna Summer and Ravi Shankar and Andy Williams etc.
