Although I don't give a shit about the Voice as a program, what I do care about is the BBC bullied by the right wing filth in government which thinks the private sector shouldn't be subject to competition.

The ideological right wing scum in government have sneered at the BBC for daring to air programs that people prefer to watch over what the private sector churns out.

ITV have aired nothing more than a disgraceful promotion of Simon Cowell's business interests and even paid him for for the privilege.  How commerical TV has got away with such blatant promotion of commerical interests is beyond me. Yet the BBC gets ripped to pieces for the slightest indiscretion.

In my opinion, if the private sector can't turn out content that people want to watch, then why should the British government mollycoddle it?

If the private sector fails to deliver programs people want to watch, then it fails and that is it's fault.  If the public sector succeeds then it succeeds!  That's the market.  The government wants to feather bed the private sector.  Hypocrites!
