If Mrs Jer arises from her sick bed it will be Waterloo Road and our catchup Homeland. Then the Bundesliga highlights.
For those of you who like this sort of material t'Grauniad recommends Antichrist 11pm Film 4. Lars Von Trier.
"A couple whose child fell to his death while they made love, holed up in a forest retreat named, Eden. Their despair leads to horrific acts, including genital mutilation. An utterly confounding but haunting allegory - cum - fairy tale."

Not my cup of tea but hey! Knock yer bit selves out like.

Antichrist is not so much a horror film as an extremely dark study of a couple whose child has died. Rated at the extreme end of the 18 certificate for very graphic sex and mutilation. Also contains a horrific scene involving a fox which will sicken most viewers.

The director of the film Lars von Trier had just left a mental hospital where he had been for 2 months with depression and was still recovering from that during the making of this film.

The film received an anti-award at the Cannes film festival for its misogynistic views.

I have no intention of ever seeing this film.
