Feebs, we did use to see what they had been up to, eg. arriving back at home, an appearance at a nightclub etc. maybe this year that kind of thing hasn't happened.

I can't remember medical terms, I think they had to put her under for some healing for something else. I may google to see if there is anything... but then again, I may not!

Charlie's mother is no longer in a coma.
It was mentioned a number of times during the series that she is undergoing speech therapy among other things. Charlie said he had heard her practising his name before he entered the house.

I am glad they haven`t done a "What they did next" type show, because then we would have had to endure the horrid Lee Kern, who has been making those short films - and even worse insisting on speaking.

Glad to hear his mum out of the coma.

I remember they started with BB4 having winners week then in later years following H,M's and what they have been doing. Just another cut back I suppose.

lol I'm the same, but there's bitching about it (which we all love to do) and then there's this 15 page thread with not one single positive comment in it.

They all watched 3 months of BB, they knew the HMs, they knew Davina was presenting BBBM, yet they all sat in here watching it together in this specially made thread and proceeded to rip all of it to bits. It genuinely perplexed me!

I've always been interested in comparing what we (are allowed to) see of BB events with the HMs own impressions of the same events. Because of this, I'm fascinated in hearing what the HMs have to say for themselves. That, coupled with the short and often inadequate nature of Davina's interviews, means I'm compelled to watch BBLB (and in recent years, BBBM).

Unfortunately, this also means having to endure all the "crud" that the production team insists on putting in (e.g. the Brian Belo skits) so that they can pretend they're making a proper, popular "light-entertainment" show.

The recent decision to have Davina fronting BBBM as well hasn't helped, but there are still some nuggets in amongst the crud, and at least it still follows Sturgeon's Law...

Davina laughed at/with Freddie when he said he had met Bea since leaving and that it was all quite "coolio"
Did anyone else except me think he said "cordial"?

You're right; he said his meetings with Bea outside the house were "quite cordial".
He was damning with faint praise.

Davina, however, continues to be obsessed with the possibility of "house romances", and so hears what she wants to hear...

Havent read all this back, but has it been mentioned that Charlie, after been asked by Davina what his mum asked him to do in the BB house, said, she said for him not to swear nor cry to spoil his eyes. Did Charlie not say his mum was in a coma and he hadnt seen her for a bit? He apparently did and she couldnt have been in a coma if she spoke to him before he went into the house

He said that she was undergoing speech therapy as well as other things. He was telling Marcus one night about how his mother had been practising how to say Charlie`s name again.

Charlie said both in the house and on BBBM he had promised his Gran/Nan he would not swear, he had promised his sister he would not cry.
