Well maybe because they had his brother and sister on the show..RIP Michael.
Not much of a tribute imo, they could have shown a better clip of the Thriller dance, and poor Darnell was only on for about 10 seconds before they went to a break

Awwww... I thought he did ok. I heard his "Cookie LOve"song earlier this year and it couldn't possibly have been Kat singing, it had to have been a real singer as the vocals sounded human as opposed to strangulated cat.

I don't know Videostar? No sooner had Darnell sung "Ben the Two of us" It went to ad's, Darnell may have been terrific for all I heard.
