I didn't like him either! Mumbling buffoon.
I said that lastnight on this forum.
Do you know for a blind man Mikey sees more than most...he is very insightful.

How ruddy dare you get them mixed up.
Mikey was the man last year , Darnell and Rex who? .
Notice Mikey's opinions are always bitter and negative.
With this bunch of HM's as with the evil Darnell and Rex last year theres alot to be negative about.quote:Originally posted by ŅÏÎđâŅŅОÏηКŅÎģ:

Evil Darnell? Remind me how he was evil?
I don't think so .......... she's not feisty enough for a start.
And what does Mikey know anyway ?
And what does Mikey know anyway ?
Sophie is sweet, Jade certainly was not, dont see the comparison.
I think a few of the hm's would have stuggled with that task.

Ewwww like i could give a damn what that odious creep thinks! Mikey ranks as one of my least favourite housemates of all time; i wonder how his collection of Nazi memorabilia is progressing?
I don't actually agree. I don't think she is anything like Jade. More like Helen from BB2; very sweet, pretty Welsh girl.

Just becase he collects that stuff does not mean he is a bad person.
I remember last year some scummy tabloids couldn't wait to announce to the world what Mikey collects, like that makes him some kind of nazi himself.

Came onto o two women in the house, when they politely knocked him back, he then got aggressive with them, shouted in womens faces and influenced nominations against any female who rejected his disgusting advances.

He's odious imo whether he collects it or not...
From what I seen of BB2 didn't watch it that year but seen a lot of clips before YT removed them Helen was a sweet lovely girl a bit dim but I would say she is smarter than Sophie .

Let's be realistic now. Sara led him on worse than Noirin led on Marcus.
Who can possibly forget the night on LF when Sara humiliated Darnell for an hour when she forced him to admit that he fancies her, and then when he finally admitted it she rejected him.
That to me is evil.
I have thought this in the last couple of weeks but did not want to say she is copying Jade, difference is Jade was genuinely who she was but feel Sophie is faking it.
Thank you.quote:Originally posted by wonder:quote:Originally posted by Cheeky-Pixie:

I was never a big fan of Jade, but one of her good points that I think people forget is that she didn't revel in her ignorance: she appreciated the value of education because she knew what she'd missed out on.
Jade tried to hang around with what perceived were the brighter HMs and listened to them. She also talked repeatedly about doing a college course when she left the house.
How many of the current HMs do you think would consider going into further education post-BB?

Saras always been blamed for what happened to Darnell, how about when he was so nasty to her and made her cry. Sara did lead Darnell on but he fancied her clearly so he was to blame as much as her for that but she came out on top in the end finishing third as Darnell himself wrecked his chances with a little help from Sara of winning .
Possibly. Yes Jade was genuinely dippy And I believe Sophie is too, but I agree with you in a way... But she seems to be not so much faking it, but 'exaggerating it.' I am finding it hard to believe that anyone of that age (20-ish?) can be that clueless and know so little.quote:Originally posted by Marguerita:

Urgh! I couldn't stand him..**shudders**
Oh, bollards! Im 43 and im totally crap at geography. I didnt have a clue on most of them either. Perhaps Im just a bit thick too, but it doesnt mean Im like Jade. Just dont know where a lot of countries are. I remember Italy and Sicily because of "The Boot" from School, but thats about it! Unless of course, Ive got that wrong too

That is not what happened.
Sara heard on the grapevine that Darnell had been bitching about her behind her back, she wanted the whole house to know why he was doing this, she was pointing out that she weasn't interested in him and that he should get over it like a man.

How about that comment that she was cheap and easy , Lisa so told him though after when she comforted Sara when she was crying .

There has been no change from Sophie throughout the series - totally dippy (with her general knowledge) all the way through; refer back to the 'do carrots grow on trees' comment from Week 2 i believe, or the discussion that Kris and she had with Freddie that showed up their total lack of knowledge regarding the meaning of christianity. What we see now is more of Sophie on screen because the group is smaller; but we see the same Sophie.
Sophie failed all of her GCSE's - for the theory in question to work on a logical level; she was trying to be Jade at school also...
I got a "U" in Geography cse at school Perhaps thats why I didnt know where the countries were eitherquote:Originally posted by Cold Sweat:quote:Originally posted by Marguerita:

I did alright at GCSE Geography (i was in the first year GCE/CSE merged?) - but i still would not have known the correct location for several of those arrows.

Care to come-out and say which ones?
[No pressure: it's just that I thought Sophie's challenge was easy, and I'm genuinely curious as to how difficult other FMs considered it.]

I would have struggled with Iran - albeit not as tragically, and i can never remember which way round Sweden and Norway sit - so that would have been a guess for me.

Yup. Actually, I wasn't paying attention properly at the time, but I think even Marcus was unsure about that one, and was checking it with Siavash at the end...

Fair enough - common mistakes.
That was my real problem with Sophie's performance: it wasn't that she was wrong; it was that she was so badly wrong...
