A new poll is open to vote for the new Big Brother 2014 Power housemate.

You can vote for your favourite housemate using the Official Big Brother app (search for Big Brother on the App Store), although it’s still only available to iOS7 (iPhone, iPad and iPod touch) users.

Those who don’t own an iDevice cannot vote. Soz.

The new Power housemate will be kept a SECRET from the group, although they will be aware that someone has been given the Power.

This week we saw the first Power housemate Pauline decide which housemates got their suitcases, award £5,000 to one housemate (Mark), send another straight through to the final (Helen) and finally, put poor Jale up for eviction EVERY week for the rest of the series with a killer nomination.

Pauline is once again able to take the power for a second week but the three Housemates up for nomination (Danielle, Jale and Tamara) are all exempt from the poll.

The chosen Power Housemate will remain a secret to the rest of the House for the duration that they have the Power.

The poll will close at 9AM TOMORROW (Thursday, June 12), which would mean we can expect to know the identity of the new Power housemate during Friday’s live show.

Big Brother continues tonight on Channel 5 from 10PM.

So this means Jale can NEVER have the 'Power'!....Not fair!!!!

No you are correct EFFT ,Jale being the evictee will not be allowed to hold power.

I reckon Jale has more power than anyone who gets the Head of House card any week. She doesn't have to look for approval from anyone. She can behave with dignity and be kept in by the viewers because of the bad deal she has, whilst gathering a posse of supporters.

EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT DAY 7

Today saw the Power of Positivity task enter its second and final phase and the housemates had to use all their - swiftly dwindling - reserves of happiness to muddle through.

The day kicked off in rollicking style when Positivity Police Toya and Steven had to conduct a group session of rolling on the floor laughing, or ROFL in Twitter parlance. Why did Freud never think of this? 

The four housemates (Ash, Ashleigh, Kimberly and Marlon) yet to recieve their suitcases were then kindly given the chance to win them back in a series of frankly revolting little challenges that Big Brother literally cooked up for them. 

Things then took a turn for the awkward when Kimberly was made to read out the transcript of her nominations. To be fair, Tamara and Ash seemed to take it quite well – at least as well as can be expected when you're called rude and arrogant to your face. 

The final part of the Positivity shopping task was the ominously titled 'Unfun Fair.' The coconut shies and pig weighing contests were replaced by an obstacle course covered in an, as yet, unidentified brown gloop and white feathers, which the contestants had to traverse whilst picking up tokens along the way.

Fittingly, Day 7 drew to a happy close as Helen and Danielle threatened to put their differences aside and become bessies. Could this be the start of a beautiful friendship?

excited and cream crackered so will probably just bomb out and sleep for a month ... it has been a very trying few months  

I`ll bet, moving house is stressful but it will all be worth it when you settle into your nice new home.  

I`ve got a busy summer ahead so won`t be able to do regular updates but I`ll help out when I can.
