Day 20: A view from The Pod

It would be tricky to find a housemate who hasn't had a bad word to say in the House but The Pod became bitching HQ when Ashleigh and Toya  - with intermittent assistance from Danielle - ripped into their companions.

The eye in the sky picked off the housemates one by one. Here are a few of this evening's mean girls moments.

Helen's got a potty mouth...

Let the one who has not yet sworn in the House cast the first stone. Just saying. We've burned through half a dozen bleep machines already this series and to be fair, we wish we'd given Helen a swear box. We'd be sunning ourselves somewhere exotic right now.

While they were at it, they laid into Ash, Winston or maybe Marlon too for good measure. They were reluctant to name names so draw your own conclusions.

Mark's an actor...

Ashleigh raised this theory after Mark's performance in today's task.  Toya went as far as to suggest he might not be as mystic as he is making out and Ashleigh said he was playing stupid by saying things like "Bob Dylan isn't famous". Toya said this wasn't just stupid, it was disrespectful. We never knew she was such a fan. Ashleigh wasn't done with housemates' brain power, she suggested their combined IQs would be unflatteringly low.

Kimberly hasn't done anything bad to Danielle...

According to Toya, this is worse than saying something mean to her face. Is Hurricane Toya picking up speed again? Batten down the hatches.

Kimberly

The slating sessions are showing no sign of slowing down. Housemates, if you haven't got anything nice to say... oh nevermind.

Ashleigh Coyle has become the latest of FOUR housemates wanting to leave the Big Brother 2014 house.

And they’re all women, causing a potential crisis if they go ahead and walk out with two women having already been evicted.

Speaking to Danielle yesterday, Ashleigh complained: “Christopher tried to tell me because Toya wanted to go, I decided I wanted to go too.

“I decided long before Toya, don’t make out I want to go because Toya wants to go. I want go because I’m living with a bunch of f**kers.”

She added: “I hope Ash goes this week then Winston goes next. If it’s not me, I want Ash, Winston and Marlon.”

As well as both Toya and Ashleigh, Danielle also wants out.

“I think I’m done,” she told BB this week. “I had a conversation to Toya and she really put things into perspective for me.

“It just really hit home what she said.

“I just really feel like a caged bird and I don’t want to do it anymore. I’ll stick it out [for now] but I want to go Friday, I want to go.”

And Helen Wood has also claimed that she’s on edge despite having won a pass straight through to the final.

She told the housemates: “I just feel like s**tâ€Ķp***ed off with how it looks. I can’t be myself around certain people; I don’t see how it’s going to work.

“I don’t have to put up with this s**t at home. I don’t have this c**p. Every time I say something, I don’t have to think ‘s**t have I hurt someone’s feelings?’ because my friends aren’t like that.

“I just feel like I’m never going to get a chance here with certain people and yet I have to give them a chance. Well, it works both waysâ€Ķ”

Everything you need to know about Day 20

It's all kicking off again in the Big Brother House, because of course it is. Housemates are arguing with one another all over the shop, and they've barely stopped to draw breath between bitching sessions. Let's break it down...

Last night, after an impromptu pool party, spirits were running high and housemates even indulged in some pranks. But those pranks had consequences, and the loss of hair styling privileges sent Mark into a rage

The new shopping task saw housemates temporarily put their differences aside in order to try to think alike, with some fantastic consequences. But when Ash, Marlon and Winston were given the opportunity to see all of their nominations to date, things soon got tense again.

And that led to more gossiping, and more bitching. Cue tons of awkwardness.

As night drew in, Helen, Ashleigh, and Mark had to face their fears at a special party full of bursting balloons and evil clowns. The children's party theme continued with a game of Truth or Dare, but if there's one thing our housemates ought to know by now, it's that the truth hurts.

Another almighty row kicked off, followed by some smaller confrontations, and now new factions have formed in the House. Are we seeing some people's true colours now? Or is there still more to see?

Kimberly Kisselovich’s Big Brother 2014 game plan has been exposedâ€Ķ by her secret BOYFRIEND.

While Kimberly told the other housemates she was “dating” one entering the house, she also insisted she had “no commitments”.

But it’s now been revealed that Kimberly has a boyfriend of some three years.

It’s despite Steven and Kimberly planning a double photoshoot in yesterday evening’s show.

Kimberly’s partner Sahsa said last night: “We’re boyfriend and girlfriend or a long time. We’ve been together for more than three years.”

He insisted that he didn’t fear Kimberly getting with Steven, saying it was part of the game and wasn’t “genuine.”

Sasha explained: “She’s keeping the right distance, not pushing it too far but not getting too close either. She’s gives him a hope.

“I’m not worried, I’m not worried at all. I don’t feel any threat.”

Kimberly’s boyfriend went on to reveal that we’ve yet to see the real her in the house and he hopes she’ll become more confident to open up in the weeks to come.

He said: “I really hope she’s going to show the other side, that I know.

“Right now she’s too afraid to open because she doesn’t know who to trust. Hopefully we’ll see the real her.”

BOTS veteran Emma Kennedy will be popping in to cast a wry sideways glance at the curious goings-on. And Daniella Westbrook will be adding extra insight and star wattage to proceedings.

Join them, and us after the main show on Channel 5 at 11pm sharp.

Day 21: The day after the night before

Another year, another stark reminder that games of Truth or Dare played in the Big Brother House will always lead to shouting or tears. Plus, occasionally, snogging.

The thundercloud boomed and crackled as words were traded between Helen and Matthew, then Ash aimed some bile at Jale, Mark demonstrated expert flouncing, and Christopher came a cropper to the sharp side of Helen’s tongue.

Today has seen the housemates surveying the wreckage, which would historically find the two at the centre of the whirlwind exchanging sweet words and an apologetic hug. Not this time though.

Neither Helen nor Matthew have been showing much remorse – her still simmering, convinced that it takes a certain kind of snob to trample over a simple game of “Spin the Bottle”. Him sticking to his guns.

“They think they’re the in-crowd,” he hissed, sipping a hot mug of something in the kitchen.

It’s safe to say that there’s not a great amount of love lost between this pair.

Of the others, only Ash seems conflicted, now worried how this might affect his standing in the House come eviction night. His loyalty is obviously with his bestie Helen, but he has been spotted attempting to smooth things over with the other members of the House – most notably when he apologised to Matthew.

As always in these situations, there are no winners. Unless you count Jale, who seems to be growing in influence on the inside.

It all kicks off in the Big Brother 2014 house tonight and here’s a line by line recap of the latest row.

It all starts over a game of truth or dare, with Matthew Davies being not too keen when a rather rude question is asked, one which we can’t quite repeat here.

“This is why I’m not playing,” Matthew says.

Helen Wood snaps: “Oh for f**k sake, bore the f**k off! Bore off, bore off! It’s a questionâ€Ķ”

She continues:  “It’s a joke.  He sat back saying ‘this is why I don’t play’ don’t f**king play then! Why are you playing?”

Matthew insists: “Don’t tell me where to goâ€ĶI’m not playingâ€Ķ”

Helen continues:  “So if you’re not playing why are you contributing with your f**king mouth!”

Matthew replies      “Close your mouth, maybe you should learn to close it for once.”

Big Brother Summer 2014

As Helen acts like a 5 year old, Matthew tells her:  “This is pathetic!  I’ve never argued with someone so ridiculous in my life!”

He adds: “â€ĶHelen, I’m not interested I will actually leave because your boring me now, your driving me f**king mad, the sound of your voice is f**king droning, get a grip Helen.”

Helen shouts: “You f**king skinny c**t”

Mark Byron then gets involved, saying:  “The pair of you have just made absolute t**ts of yourselves!â€ĶWhy are you shouting like that for no reason, if I knew you were going to play something like that I wouldn’t of f**king sat here. I’m f**king sick of everybody in here scraping and arguing every night!”

Later, Helen goes out to join Matthew who is in the garden.

She tells him:    “You’re a very bitter, nasty back stabbing little b*****d”

Matthew hits back:   “You’re describing yourself quite well, you’re confusing myself with you Helenâ€ĶWhy are you coming up to me in my face, can you not have a conversation with someone without getting in their face?”

Helen rages:   “You’ve completely transformed, you turned into a p***y, the other night and you let Toya take your f**king back lashâ€Ķf**king p***y, match up to your f**king description you f**king weed”

Big Brother then calls Helen to the Diary Room as she adds on last expletive filled blow to Matthew:  “You’re a f**king t**t, youâ€Ķ”

He says:    “F**k off Helen.

Big Brother Summer 2014

“Shows how much of an uneducated and unintelligent person you areâ€Ķbye Helenâ€Ķget another boob job, your tits are so f**king saggy, you paid for them love you need another one”

Helen responds: “Boob job? Go rip your f**king hairs off your f**king pigeon chest you f**king skinny, scrawny, pale, plucked f**king pigeon chested t**t.”

Day 21: What will the housemates be eating this week?

This week, housemates failed their shopping task, and you know what that means: basic rations. The food arrived this evening, and already, we're pretty sure the housemates aren't impressed with their haul. Let's see what they've got, then...

Firstly, they've got some fresh fruit and veg: 96 oranges, 96 apples, 96 pears, 12 onions, 6 packs of carrots, and 18 cabbages.

The fruit, especially, seems to be going down well, with everyone tucking into the apples and pears.

Next, there's the stock cupboard essentials: canned goods, including 96 cans of chickpeas, 18 cans of lentils, and 96 cans of tinned tomatoes. Carb-wise, they'll be getting through a lot of rice this week, as Big Brother has supplied 18 packs of white rice and 18 packs of brown rice.

Then there's the stock cubes - six packs each of beef, chicken, and vegetable cubes - plus 12 bottles of vegetable oil and 12 bottles of olive oil. They got plenty of seasonings, too: 18 jars each of paprika, nutmeg, coriander, and cumin.

Most importantly, though: they got coffee. Two big jars of it, to be precise. There's also four packs of tea bags, and six bags of sugar. Someone put the kettle on, eh?

Helen Wood has been issued with a “formal warning” from Big Brother 2014 after her latest row.

The official warning from Big Brother, issued in the Diary Room on tonight’s (Wednesday) latest highlights show followed a huge row between her and Matthew Davies.

Helen had branded him a “f**king skinny c**t”

She later ranted at him in the Garden: “You’ve completely transformed, you turned into a p***y, the other night and you let Toya take your f**king back lash.

“F**king p***y, match up to your f**king description you f**king weed. You’re a f**king weed.”

Big Brother told Helen that they had “no choice” but to issue her with a formal warning for “unacceptable behaviour.”

BB told her: “You were aggressive in your behaviour towards Matthew. In a heated argument, you stood over Matthew and shouted at him.

Big Brother Summer 2014

“The invasion of a housemate’s personal space in this way can be seen was intimidating.

“Big Brother does not tolerate unacceptable behaviour.”

“If you repeat this behaviour again, Big Brother may have no choice but to remove you from the house.”

It followed BB locking her in the Diary Room and refusing to let her out until she calmed down.

Helen replied: “I don’t know what’s wrong with meâ€Ķ for what it’s worth, I’m really sorry.”

It’s the second time that Big Brother spoke to her, following another warning from Big Brother over bullying after more than 1,500 complained about her actions towards fellow housemate Jale Karaturp.

In one rant, Helen had branded Jale a “f***** slug” and spat: “She’s an attention seeking b*****d, not real, she hasn’t got a real f**king bone in her body. No ones going to look at her in that light, ever.”

In the Diary Room, Big Brother told her last week: “Big Brother thinks your behaviour is unacceptable and Big Brother does not tolerate unacceptable behaviour.

“If this type of behaviour occurs again then big brother may have to issue you with a formal warning or take further serious action.”

Big Brother 2014 continues nightly on Channel 5.
