I agree....I found it difficult viewing tbh,not in any way shape or form entertaining.

It was awful seeing Ben thinking that Shabby would finally give him a chance, but from a viewer's perspective, the worst part was right at the end when Shabby and Caoimhe were laughing hysterically about it.

And Shabby thinks Ben is the horrible one???  Really???

I really want to answer this post, but TBH I'm struggling

I veer between him deserving some of the responses he gets, and wanting to comfort him.

BTW I can't stand Shabby.......most of the time I can't stand Ben either, but somehow I feel like I should try.

I think he's harmless. He's inept whereas Shabby is malicious. It was a cruel trick to play on him. Maybe the producer thought it would be fun to make Poshboy an object of ridicule. It's kind of ironic, the word 'bully' is often thrown around with gay abandon where BB is concerned but this time it's BB bullying a housemate.

That was indeed a horrible position. Ben's had a few extremely suspect poses with Mario too. Hetro blokes just don't do those things Ben, they just don't lol. Still no excuse for that disgusting task tonight.

Well, what it did prove is that Ben is nice guy who is willing to apologise and make-up with people after arguments.  He`s not one to bear grudges.

I thought it was an effort to humiliate Ben, but just ended up with him being nice.

I found it hard watching Ciaohme and Shabby take the piss after Ben had thought Shabby genuinely had tried to make amends.

Yes, it was horrible. I can see this all going very pear-shaped very fast.

I'm not sure I agree , but it was uncomfortable to watch......Ben looking eager , and finally accepted.....Shabby looking totally bored, and asking what the time was

In some respects they're cut from the same cloth.......Ben has a slightly more high quality weave than Shabby.

If anything it probably worked in his favour. People will have more hatred for Shabby and feel sorry for Ben. Especially this week as he's up for eviction, its gives Govan more of a chance of going.....yay!

I second that. Sometimes you wonder if BB think things through. It was quite pitiful to see Ben lapping up the attention from Shabby ..............cruel on BB's part IMO.

He's clearly uncomfortable in that house and finding it hard to mix with people. He has to apologise all the time when some drama queen makes something out of nothing. For him it's a constant uphill struggle. For BB to fool him into thinking he has been accepted was just way out of order for me.

I felt a little sorry for Ben. I know he sometimes presents as a big numpty, but he was like a thirsty man drinking - all too keenly - the milk of Shabby's contrived kindness. He really bought her act.

He's human and wants people to like him. He often puts his foot in it but that's hardly a reason to subject him to this. I'd love to see BB take everyone in the diary room and give their opinions on Shabby then put it on the screen with them all sitting down, but they won't.

He is, and essentially a decent bloke, in my opinion.

I find this very difficult cos I like them both. I don't blame Shabby for doing it, she was getting a reward and don't even blame her for laughing about it later, it's a human trait and she knew the score. Ben doesn't know the score and that is sad, bad on you Big Bro. I hope Ben learns not to be too trusting in the future and to think things through more.

I thought that was really nasty of BB to set him up for that, and just because they hoped the Shabby/Keeva meal together would bring about an outcome they hoped for. Very tacky and transparent

I don't think BB should have done it but saying that I don't like Ben I think he's a sneaky snake.

Have to say, I thought they overstepped the 'jolly japes at HMs expense' line too. Distasteful. The fact the fact that Shabby agreed to do it didn't exactly endear her to me any more, either. What happened to that happily resided on moral high ground, Shabs?

Same here Yogi, it was terrible.Who the hell behind the scenes thought that would be entertaining.

I don't like Ben, but that made me uncomfortable. BB didn't consider his feelings for a second, just used him for laughs.
On the plus side, it has proven that Shabby is actually quite a talented actress. What gullible sap among us would believe a word that comes out of her mouth from now on? It really is all for airtime, and it's working.
