Brilliant Erin and couldn't agree more
the public vote..........blame the public if you're not happy your fave went
Davina has just said on BBBM that even she thought it should have been "vote-to-save"...
oh well, its back next year on Channel 5 So much for all the hype about it being the last one

Why change it to vote to evictReference:

but it wasn't.if enough people wanted sam to stay he would have..i don't like the fella but i thought he got a great reception and was honest and frank in his interview.....he admitted he goes too far...he admitted he blew it...that's the way it goes....he'll do very well out of it
I'm pretty sure it's the voters who decided who was leaving tonight.

When its a vote to evict then a HM can be targeted ,when its a vote to save the only person you vote is your fav.
Blame the voters. Sure, you can blame BB for giving the voters too much responsibility over the final line up, but ultimately the blame lies on the shoulders of the voters.
Can't blame the Producers for the public's choices. I'm shocked Corin's gone I thought she had a chance of winning, I'm shocked jj2 is still there, what a waste of a space for a more interesting hm to be there. Surprised Andrew's still in, he's interesting in tasks but not otherwise. Will miss John, lots of bad behaviour but he was interesting to watch
Actually, sod it, BLAME THE TWEENIES !!!
It should definitely have been a vote to save. This result is stupid.

can someone tell me something, anything, one thing that jj has done? Never mind what hes done that entertaining...just DONE will do
well sam is on bbbm right now admitting he went too far........i've got to applaud the fella....if he hadn't of.who knows?....but he behaved the way he did no one else.......and the fact he went ott was the reason he was voted out.......he showed a nice side but went way ott on his 'nasty' side.....that is what cost him..

JJ2 would not be there this week if this was a vote to save imo.
it has always been a vote to save at this stage... idiots (BB not you lot)
oh i agree about jj2...i think there is a possibilty he could win........he will snare the 'fit' vote and he hasn't been as ott as john james
If JJ2 wins....... then and only then will I believe in the mythical tweenie power vote.
I can't even type I'm so angry!

The penultimate week in BB5 was a vote to evict, with all HMs up. That's how Michelle got evicted. What really made the difference this time was having 4 evictions on the same night as well as a "vote to evict". It made it virtually impossible for the big "marmite" characters to survive. John James and Sam were doomed as soon as the evicition was announced, and Josie would probably have gone too if she'd been up. Even if they'd avoided getting the highest percentage, there was no chance of their fans mustering enough support to prevent them still coming in second or third (which is what happened to Sam).
This is why I've always been opposed to multiple evictions. It was the double eviction in BB4 (the first ever) that killed off that series. By evicting 2 out of 3 HMs, BB managed to lose Jon Tickle and Fed (the only two HMs who were actually doing anything) on the same night...
