New Big Brother 2013 host Emma Willis has kicked off filming for the new  series.

The Channel  5 reality show will launch its fourteenth series next month, with new  presenter Emma at the helm.

The former Bit On The Side frontwoman has replaced Brian  Dowling, saying last month: “I am thrilled to have been offered this  job.

“I’m a fan first and foremost so to be able to front the show is going to be  amazing. Roll on the summer!”

Emma tweeted yesterday: “Had a great day today filming for #BB soooooo  exciting!”

Is Rylan Clark the new host of Bit On The Side? He could well be after official ticket vendor Applause Store tweet he is presenting the sister show – opps!

Applause Store have a habit of leaking things they shouldn’t have. In 2009 they leaked the brand new eye design before it had even been officially released.

Big Brother’s Bit on the Side is now looking for a new presenter after the spinoff show’s former presenter Emma Willis was yesterday confirmed to replace Brian Dowling as presenter of the main show on Channel 5.

Yesterday, Applause Store tweeted Totally Big Brother from its official account about securing free Big Brother tickets, with both Willis and Clark’s monikers linked into the post.

The tweets said: “B the 1st for #freetix to #BB13 @bbuk with @Emma_Willis + @RylanClark,” although the multiple tweets were all deleted soon after posting

I like Rylan's personslity but he's hardly gonna take it upmarket.

There are sooooo many good presenters

Jessica-Jane Stafford is rumoured to be in talks to join Rylan Clark as presenter of Channel 5's revamped Big Brother sister show.
Producers believe the 25 year old beauty will make the perfect replacement for Emma Willis, who has been promoted to front the channel's live eviction shows.
Jessica-Jane made her name as a glamour model and her tv credits include The Real Hustle and I'm A Celebrity.  She's also been a regular face on BBBOTS.
The new-look show will see the nightly audience ditched in favour of more sketches, celebrity guests and viewer interaction.
Contracts are still being finalised however programme-makers think Jessica-Jane will attract legions of viewers and will also be able to shift a few extra copies of the Daily Star, which is owned by the same company behind Channel 5.
The Sun recently hinted at Jessica-Jane's appointment, telling fans that a relatively unknown face will be presenting the show alongside Rylan.
Rylan's contact is already signed and Producers are waiting to finalise a deal with Jessica this week.  An official announcement is expected next week.

Newcomer AJ has presented on both TV and radioand is no stranger to Bit On The Side having appeared before as a panelist on the show.

AJ Odudu comments: “It’s going to be brilliant fun hooking up with Rylan and Emma for Big Brother’s Bit On The Side.  I can’t wait to find out who the housemates are and get stuck in.”

In further news,a new psych show will air, Big Brother’s Bit On The Psych.  The Bit On The Psych team will be joined by a panel of experts and psychologists to analyse the behaviour of the housemates over the past seven days.  Rylan will also front a Sunday lunchtime edition of Bit On The Side.

Ben Frow, Director of Programmes Channel 5 comments: “Big Brother’s spin off shows have a history of bringing on new talent and with Rylan and AJ I think we have two future stars.”

Big Brother’s Bit On The Side is made by Initial (an Endemol company) for Channel 5.  The show will return this summer, nightly Monday to Saturday after Big Brother and on Sunday lunchtimes on Channel 5.  BB fans will also be pleased to hear that live streaming returns nightly between 7-9pm on 5*.

Well, 14 hours a week, but still: it's a lot better than I was expecting!

The fact that it's on during the peak evening period means it'll be difficult for me to watch, but that was never the point: the important thing is that some people will be watching: and that means people talking and writing about it...
