The start date is 20/5/13, with the BB14 launch presumably at the start of June. Now I'm not an expert, but this strikes me as a bit tight. Maybe this is common for the show, but I'm guessing the timescale is due to other circumstances...

What circumstances?

There's been a bit of a bit of a clear-out at Endemol/BB recently. The presenter changes have already been discussed here (only Emma's staying, and apparently getting Brian's main presenter job) but there have also been sackings/departures behind the scenes too. 

I've been struggling to keep up with developments (there's been a lot of discussion of them on DS), but they appear to be linked to pressure by C5 for significant changes in BB14. One of the biggest rumours - inevitably - has been the return of Live Feed. We shall see...
