. . .and you'll ALL be watching come the next series

We can if we all say no

But people subscribe and are saying 'yes'

Maybe that's the problem

Me too. Also... I'm allergic to all things Murdoch and wouldn't pay that organisation a penny, if I could help it.

Sky Go watch online without subscription .

http://help.sky.com/tv/sky-tv-...thout-a-subscription

It will still cost Β£21.50 per month and for me still a no-no as I don't want to line their pockets. But this might be good for those who don't want to b uy into the full Sky deal.

Had no idea it would be so costly.I get it free as I have sky.

The trick is....not to watch and put money in his pocket

There appears to be a "Family Bundle" for Β£15 per month, but I don't know if there are any additional charges on top of that. I'm finding it difficult to get more details on the "Monthly Ticket" deal without first signing up for a Sky ID... The FAQ page implies you don't need a subscription for a Monthly Ticket, but the T&Cs seem to imply you need a subscription to get Sky Go in the first place...

As it stands, even Β£15 a month sounds a lot and only something I'd consider for just a short-term "event" (though remember, a BB series will cover at least a 3 month period). And even then, I share the misgivings of other FMs about giving anything to Murdoch...

Me too, Aims - I can't see it being on Sky Atlantic mind...    I think that's about the only channel I wish I had, but I wouldn't subscribe to Sky to get it.

Ditto.

I think that if Discovery Communications and Sky do buy channel 5, then it is likely that not only would Channel 5 end BB but so would every single Amercian drama show. 5 USA and 5 * would either close down or become subsciber channels on Sky.

It's not yet a done deal but if it goes ahead I doubt if anyone here will like what will happen to Channel 5.

Do a google search on "Discovery Communications drama" and there are zero results.
