BB is almost over and The forum is due to close

so before it does I want to say goodbye to you all. I have enjoyed the banter and the forums both here and on C4. I won't be coming to LiveCloud it doesn't look like my type of place. I wish you all well and hope to find some familiar names on forums in the future.

Hi Longcat

please give it a chance I am a bit scared but I was scared when I joined CH4 Forum as it was the first forum I had ever joined and never thought I would take to it,how wrong was I, you have nothing to lose by giving it a try hope you change your mind

Same here. I keep getting emails about what peeps are up to on there. Sorry, I love you all, and love chatting to you on the forum, but I don't want you in my email box! Dunno if I'll make the transition.

I made one post and a few days later had 208

You don't have to use the networking site or anything on that side of things...you can just use the forum as you do here when it goes over to LC.

For those who want to, you can block those E Mails to your account by either amending your settings, or just selelcting 'Suspend Notifications'

This forum hasn't moved yet...so give it a chance when it does

Go in to 'Manage@ and then 'My Settings' and have a look around there, sorry I'm not too clear, it's all new to me as well...I managed it though, somehow!

Our Forum hasn't been moved over yet so don't be hasty with decisions about leaving. At present it is mostly blogging, the up & running forums are just the support and a couple of groups. Gaga is moving all this over there. The support forums are asking for our feedback and suggestions if anyone has a suggestion not already covered why not pop along and post it.

Hi Jenny I did not like all the emails, to stop them go the Manage click on My Settings scroll right down to the bottom of the page on the lefthand side it will say Suspend all notifications Emails click in the little box next to it then press on update underneath and the emails will stop

I sent Bovrilking a PM last week, asking what he thought of it, he told me that he was gutted and felt let down with it all after all the contact with the Eve people to get you lot a new forum after C4 kicked you out.

I think thats the reason he doesnt come on here much anymore

I'm not keen at present, but I believe we should give it a go, to keep us all together.

As I understand it, you don't have to use all the additional features, so if you just want to use the forum you can. It might not be in the same format as here, but we should be able to get used to it.

Give it a try, don't just dismiss it out of hand, as we don't want to lose you!

goodbye everyone its been a long and emotional ride over the years i loved every minute but now its over

i wont be venturing over to livecloud i cant help but feel we were duped when we were rehomed here a ready made user database for livecloud.

if anyone finds a similar forum maybe something of the community can be salvaged but it looks like it ends here
