safe Helen who wasn't ever nominated was very vocal and harsh when making the noms - its one thing being nommed by a fellow housemate who knows you more but very harsh from someone doing it on first impressions

Slick Vic on task day did just enough and made an impact in a very few minutes

I know they were classed as a boring lot who needed a kick up the jacksy but the way C5 are meddling this time isnt fair to them when there is a large prize at stake - they should decide who to get rid of and when IMO

If Vick had gone in instead of Helen it might have been a better week.

most definately

C5 just want nastiness though and going by tonights change in twist if true they will do anything to get it

BB is so different from earlier times when we had antics and hm's that made us laugh. The agenda now is making viewers complain and get angry, not much fun these days

Yellow Rose

bearing in mind a lot of hm's this year are not very BB savvy including Simon who apparently knows nothing about it does he think he is safe by attaching himself to Helen

yesterdays tweets and live feed last night made me wonder - does he not know how she is loathed on the outside

he will once he is evicted and realise he should have *known his friends*

I'm finding the whole show completely ridiculous now and I'm feeling sorry for the original hms, they must be wondering what they've signed up for, it isn't even about them anymore it's all about Helen AGAIN, how are we meant to pick a winner when we hardly get to see or hear them, I wouldn't be surprised if the team bomb hms are allowed to win by the end of the week

Daily Mirror article:

Any hopes of reviving a dull series of Big Brother end with the return of bully Helen Wood

It all went wrong from the fake eviction of a gobby excrement-stirrer named Marc and talk of a replacement in the house.

Joel: “Can you imagine if they put in someone worse than Marc?”

Danny: “No.”

Neither could I. Untilâ€Ķ

“Hi, I’m Helen Wood, the reigning champion of Big Brother.”

Oh joy. The venomous bully and mirth vacuum who made last year’s series unwatchable, back for Time Warp Week.

Sounds spot on to me ....

Somebody mentioned last Friday night on the HL thread how the last nominated housemate shown in the eviction night HL’s is usually the one t go. Harry was the last nominated housemate shown – but Jade went.

Given that the HL’s are put together many hours before the show airs is it possible the housemate leading the vote at that time is the last featured? Emma mentioned during the eviction show that it was very close – 1% in it – so plausible that Harry could have been topping the vote earlier in the day.

I've never watched it CS ...but I think it's supposed to be serious .....but like that Judge Judy thing

I've not seen that either! I'm guessing Rumpole of the Bailey wouldn't be a good comparison?

Big Brother: Cash Bomb

Big Brother Summer 2015

Big Brother is planning a big prize money twist for the show’s penultimate week.

Rumoured scheduling confirms a new week-long twist starting from Day 55, Sunday July 5 and running until Day 59, Thursday, July 9.

For the duration of the task Big Brother will be renamed “Big Brother: Cash Bomb” and no doubt the new theme will have something to do with this year’s prize money.

This summer there’s ÂĢ150,000 up for grabs, the biggest BBUK prize to date, although twists in past series have meant that the winner hasn’t always walked away with it all.

In 2009, Sophie “Dogface” Reade won the series but took home the delightfully random amount of ÂĢ71,320 after rule breaking resulted in Big Brother removing the prize fund before the group had to win it back.

In 2011, the first series broadcast on Channel 5 saw ÂĢ50,990 awarded to winner Aaron Allard-Morgan in a rather convoluted ‘shock prize money twist’.

And the year after in 2012 was arguably Big Brother’s most controversial twist to date as Conor McIntyre chose to walk out of the house taking half of the then ÂĢ100,000 prize money with him, leaving eventual winner Luke Anderson the other ÂĢ50,000.

The twist comes week before the final, currently rumoured for around July 14th, potentially making this series the shortest to have aired on Channel 5.

For now, this week will see another themed week following weeks of Time Warp.

From Monday, the Big Brother house will become the Big Brother’s Hotel from Hell with a range of famous and familiar housemates checking in for short stays.

The first of those guests is former Celebrity Big Brother and Ultimate Big Brother housemate John McCricick who will join the house tomorrow night.

For now, the second half of Big Brother’s 80s weekend airs tonight on Channel 5 from 9PM.

TBH, it's HMs like Marc that give me a little pause for thought WRT wanting Live Feed back. On the one hand, it would have exposed his behaviour properly early-on, which can only be a good thing. However it would also be extremely difficult to watch 24/7 and would probably make Carole in BB8 look like enjoyable light entertainment in comparison...

TBH I thought it inevitable as soon as I heard that the prize fund was up to ÂĢ150,000 this year. C5 love playing with the prize fund, and if anything the biggest (and most suspicious) surprise was that they didn't play around with it at all last year when Helen won...
