So, you're in the BB house...share your knowledge about the multiple uses for lubricants.

Lubricants come in many guises!

Goose fat

Petroleum jelly

Washing-up liquid

Hair conditioner

Extra virgin olive oil

All of the above can lubricate, yes?

My example is that I rubbed petroleum jelly on the hinges of my office door at work, and it stopped it squeaking.

What have you found lubricants useful for? And what would you use them for in the BB house?

okay i shall climb out the gutter and share my story that i put baby oil on my windows to make them open more smoothly

Olive oil, WD 40 and fairy liquid are all good for a stuck ring.

I use olive oil for my skin and hair, the hair bit I mix it with egg and Advacado, makes my hair so shiney....

I've read that you can lube the tip of your screws in a bar of soap for easier penetration.

That's handy to know

tesco body butter is quite effective but BE warned !!! it can cause an allergic reaction

that would have been less funny if it wasnt on a doctor just going to an accident and emergency shift
