I use Creme de La Mer mostly in winter, Ditty, because it is quite heavy (but lush) compared to La Prairie. LP's "Intelligent" moisturiser is much lighter & soaks in quicker Nod

Ta for that Deegs!! Was gonna ask you what you thought of it!

I have seen the LP stuff... when shopping for Dermalogica for daughter (when she had teenage spots... was the only stuff that worked)... may go back to beautyflash website and see if it was there I saw the LP stuff.

You should have seen his face when I took him to the make up counter at Libertys... I bought some powder or something... and the girl said.. do you want a brush to go with that... hubby said.. oh you might as well.

Brush was ÂĢ90! He could hardly breathe as he paid for it... but didn't want to lose face and put it back.

I stood grinning like a cheshire cat!

Remember visiting my mum one w/e when I was richer, (when with my ex!) and her coming down from the bath smelling top to toe of the expensive 'matching' bubbles, body cream and perfume I'd brought with me. Said ooo mum you smell gawjuss, have you had a try of my stuff? NO I'M BLOODY SURE I HAVEN'T was her reply LOL

That's what my friend's mother-in-law uses. She's 92 but looks about 70. Mind you, I guess the botox helps quite a bit too (yes, she still has it even now plus the collagen in her lips which she's overdone IMO).

*adds it mental list of evidence that this stuff works*

*points out... aided by botox and fillers* Ninja

Not so much JUST for the free gifts... I try and wait til there is a freebie offer on. Oh who am I kidding, yes I do... but it always seems like so much for your money with lots of little pots and stuff.

There are cheapish items in most brands that will get me the offers.... hence the millions of make up bags I have kicking around.

most of it is down to genetics, diet and environment.. the rest we do is minor really..

because of the scar from surgery, I've been using bio oil.. and when I've finished massaging the scar with it, I kind of slick the excess over my face.. I can say that, while it isn't strictly a moisturiser, my skin loves the stuff.. it gives it a glow..

I can honestly say with my hand on my heart, I'm 50, I've tried every cream available no matter how much it cost, I started moisturising when I was 12 using Nivea or Astral cream, I recently tried the Aldi ÂĢ1.89 gear, I do not have one single wrinkle or laughter line, I've had 2 children and no stretch marks, I drink & smoke, therefore I've decided cheap is better, I pass for 38 or younger.

With all due respect, I think I might hate you a little bit... Valentine

mind you I didn't start moisturising til I was mid twenties... and not daily til I hit 30!

It's fine.. you can use it anywhere on your body..in fact I think it it says somewhere on the bottle it is good for uneven skin tone and hydration or something. As you know a little goes a long way with that stuff.. I slap some on every day now.. Ninja
