And I'm near shaking with rage!
It's horrible. If he wasn't able to pay for the dog's problems, he should have gone to the PDSA.
Awwww he is beautiful.
Well I expect this thread will go the same way the cat dumped in the bin thread went. So, I will just say this the one time and then leave it be.
The bastard should be hung, drawn and quartered

Despicable person.
But you know its going to be a happy ending. that dog is going to go to the best home now.. after the media attention , caught on camera etc. He will not remember someone who didn't care, but going to have loads of good times from now on.

No words
I heard about this during a "Jolly Super" interview on R2 round about tea-time. Hope they get prosecuted. They can run but they can't hide.

But how many more slip through the net?
Reminds me of a dog we had when i was a kid, Pip. My dad found him in a sack tied to a lamp-post next to the 2nd Dartford Tunnel which was then being built. He just brought him home and we had him till he died about 4 years later (dunno how old he was when he was found but not a puppy)
Why do all the people jumping to rehome him not go their local Dogs home and rehome a dog from there?

Too many, but hopefully most animals go to shelters and kennels until they find a decent home. As for people like this, i think if caught they should face prison and public humiliation. If anything about cctv it may deter this happening to an extent.

Exactly Croc, they're right when they say they'll take their time about rehoming and it won't go beacause people feel sorry for it.

I'm not sure about that. My dog was a rescue dog and about 5 years into having him, we went to a McDonalds drive in and the person who had treated him so bad was at the till. He went manic, tail wagging and the rest.
Yes it depends on how bad he was mistreated or if he was just negelected.
Well there is a good side to all of this: The amount of people that want to re-home him and give him the love and attention that he deserves.
Imagine the treatment the original owner must have given him?!!?

Only click on this item on today's BBC site if are able to prepare yourself in advance of a story of an act of extreme cruelty to an animal which goes far far beyond the story of this dog and the story a few weeks ago of the woman who put a cat in a wheelie.
This story will upset you and will anger you, but the probability is that you will see it in the papers anyway. The man responsible has been jailed for a mere 5 weeks and has been banned from keeping animals for 5 years.
Anyone who sees any humour in this story needs help.

I haven't opened it but is this the hamster man? I'm raging about him and his pathetic excuse
I read the first 5 lines of that link and couldn't read any more of it. You get people who pose as animal lovers but underneath they're evil bas***ds who in reality couldn't give a toss.

Yes it is - I didn't want to go into details here because I did not want to upset others without giving them a strong warning.Add Reply
