I've looked online and whilst it doesn't cost much, I'm finding it hard to find a supplier who specifically sells the colours they are suggesting.  I'm thinking I might go into our large department store in Brum and see what double knit they have - I doubt it matters so long as it's double knit balls and colours as near as damn it to what the pattern said 

 

I've also got a huge bag of filling so don't have that cost to factor in either.
