My local newspaper has it as starting on Tuesday 12th which agrees with your guess, Baz

Bake Off isn't starting on Tuesday 19th so, assuming it's being shown on Tuesdays and starts in September, gives a start date of Tuesday 26th.

I remember Alison Hammond from Big Brother she was very loud and annoying, she broke a table jumping on it and  left…..thought that would be the last we saw of her
