Thanks Baz Although it's the first time there's been a botanical week in Bake Off I don't think it's going to be as odd as some of the Bake Off weeks in the last few years. The signature round is to make spiced buns, technical round is herby and the showstopper a floral dessert.

I came up with an absurd cake idea some weeks ago before the series started. It was a cake which a Transylvanian prince from several hundred years ago which he prepared and cooked whilst skiing down the slopes of a mountain
