Hello Bakers sorry to have missed you live ….I’ve been a busy bee cooking and guess what happened last weekend. I was doing a luxury retreat at a private house and while prepping for their Sunday brunch a man turned up to help with a hot plate I couldn’t get to work. Once he did that I jokingly said ok you can make the pancakes then……and he did after I showed him how. Later as I was leaving someone told me he had been on Masterchef! He never said and allowed me to treat him like a simpleton and said nothing…..

It's Bread Week this time.
Signature round is based on a classic Italian focaccia though some of the contestants have non-classic ingredients,
Technical round is a Greek inspired snack,
Showstopper is to create an ambitious design using milk bread.

As I suspected the length reverts back to 75 minutes from next week, as happened with the previous series.
