Bumping now as I may have to go out at short notice. My car's engine warning light came on while I was driving home after food shopping on Saturday. Light still on when I tried yesterday morning so rang my service people and arranged to take it in this morning. Car wouldn't start this morning so I had to arrange for it to be taken there. Car service people should look at the car this afternoon to see what's happened.

Final tonight. Another hot day. First round consists of set custard and puff pastry. Technical round a combination of chocolate and nuts. Showstopper is a dessert tower.

DO NOT READ THE RADIO TIMES INFO ON THE PROGRAMME TODAY. IT EFFECTIVELY SAYS WHO THE WINNER IS.

My car service people have just rung me. It was the ignition coil which had broken down. I should get my car back sometime tomorrow
