Yes , I can’t say I was overly sympathetic either 

Brought a lot of it on themselves in the 1970s

Exactly  Thatcher would never have got in if they hadn’t got greedy in the 70s

Tbh, down here in the South the strikes didn't affect us at all.....

I was allowed one bag of coal per week, all through the winter. The coal fired central heating also heated the water, so it was horrendous.
