Yep …I remember it well ….that and paraffin heaters ….and having to scrape the ice off the inside of the bedroom windows in the morning 🤣🤣🤣🤣

I was doing all that in the 60s….in fact my mum and dad never did install central heating…..but they did eventually have an inside toilet 🤣🤣🤣🤣
