I've never organised one, Lal but I've found a link you might be interested in.
No idea lal ... they didn't have baby showers in my day.
Is it like a sort of baby hen-party?
I just read that Yogi ^^^ ... I love the question "Are you going to have edible cake?"

Is there any other kind?
It's an Americanism,up here in Scotland you didn't buy a babies wardrobe etc, until it was born and safe, things are different now.You did buy some babygrows etc so the little bugger wasn't naked etc. then you could go to town etc.

When I was pregnant with my first son, my mum and dad were buying the pram but they wouldn't let us have it in the house until he was born. It was considered bad luck, apparently.
