I'm after some more ideas for baby names for boys and girls as me and hubby seem to have reached a bit of stalemate over the issue. We both agree that we want names that are traditional, preferably over 100 years old, but we also want something a bit more unusual than say Jack, Alfie, Isabelle or Lily. The names must be English or Anglo-Welsh and we'd rather full names that can be shortened than just the shortened version. Our surname is Scottish and starts with D so it needs to fit in with that too.
The current lists include:
BOYS
William
Edmund
Jake
Nathaniel
Gabriel
Ellis
Owen
John
Edward
George
Henry
Freddie(it was after Flintoff not BB btw!)
GIRLS
Harriet
Lydia
Cecelia
Hermione
Elizabeth
Eleanor
Verity
Any ideas gratefully received.
