on the Opening Night at the Olympics.
As the ceremony started I was stuck on the Dartford Crossing listening in on the radio. We could actually see the helicoptor hovering waiting to fly over the stadium. Got to my sisters house about 40 mins after the start and ..................wasn't it fab!
Saturday morning went to Greenwich Park for the dressage event - was really good and so lovely to feel part of it. A really great atmosphere and unbelievably well organised with the travel and security (Royal Navy). We had fantastic seats and the most beautiful view over the London skyline - sat dead opposite the mansion house and behind it The Cutty Sark, The Gherkin, Canary Wharf etc. The sun was shining and it was wonderful.
Just thought I'd share that with you and wish I had been here with you all on the opening night.
