I think you're right about it being the last good series.

loved that series , but grace and nice are two words that should not be in the same sentence! she was vile!

Shahbaz's treatment was the only time BB has ever made me really, truly angry and upset. He didn't do himself many favours, but the way he was ganged up on was awful. And BB did nothing to stop it, either.

Sure did Rawky' lots of laughs and a lot of shouting at some of the HMs via the telly box!One to remember....... which reminds me When clearing out stuff I came across a video of the first BB and a BB book... how sad is that?Mind you I really missed them at the time!

I could never understand how Shabaz ever got through the Pyschological vetting process - and Sam too for that matter.  That gang of bullies were horrible to him.  Yes, he took things way too far, but what they should have done was try to explain things to him without the attacks. 

It's amazing, looking back on it, that BB didn't step in.  Then again, they weren't celebrities damaging their careers with their actions.

Me neither. It was obvious within five minutes that Shahbaz had problems. I read somewhere recently that even HE says he probably shouldn't have been allowed on it.
And poor Sam became a target immediately too. Aisleyne was the only one who gave her the time of day, and tried to help her.

Also, Dawn ROCKED!!! She could have been one of the greats.

Exactly!  One of the things I really admired about Aisleyne - her compassion!

I agree.  We didn't get to see enough of her.  Nikki decided that she didn't like Dawn and that was the end of her.

BB also didn't like Dawn, because Dawn wouldn't perform the way they wanted her to.

Agree with you all about Shabaz, God that was some shocking bullying that went on there. It astounded me how he was deemed fit to go on BB. Was Dawn the chubbish, dark haired girl that came in later?

That was Sam.  Dawn was the black woman, a bit older than the rest of them (except Lea, who was older than dirt but had so much done you could never tell).  Nikki told everyone that Dawn had BO.

Dawn was the 30-something black woman (a Brummie) who went in on the first night. She left before the end of the first week, because BB was messing with her head.

Lea was supposedly only 36, but looked 20 years older because she'd never heard of skincare or sunblock.

Oh yeah!  I had forgotten that - she used oil to sunbathe!

Thanks guys Ah Yes, now I remember Dawn. She was very kind to Nicki but then Nicki turned into a little madam and was very mean about her.Its all coming back to me now..that was a fab series. One of my favourites, except for Pete winning

LIke Deman said, it ws George - decided he didn't want the fame.  I reckon it had more to do with Nikki setting her sights on him early on when Grace and Imogen had already grabbed Mikey and Sezer and Lisa wanted Pete.

That's right. pointless. Still if he hadn't gone we'd never have got mad-as-a-box-of-frogs Sam and her sunburnt face.

Poor Sam, she never had a hope in hell. The weirdest thing she did (in a catalogue of general weirdness) was creep up on people when they were sleeping and try to re-touch their make-up

That was the worse part of BB7 for me - all the "couples".  I can still remember when Nikki announced her intentions to the other women, that Lisa cackling "We all have one" and all the girls squealing in delight!

I'm re-watching it all on Mr Marky's site, I'm a few behind at the moment, I'm up to Lisa's eviction. BB7 was the last BB I enjoyed, didn't much care for BB8,9 and 10.

I agree, that was bloody awful. It was like none of them thought they existed unless they were hanging off some bloke's arm.

I'm only on day 3, Lea just got her suitcase. Will have to watch the next lot on saturday, when I'm back in work.

I really got into BB7. Hated BB8, it was awful. BB9 and 10 were better.

Which contained, if memory serves me right, a couple of size-8 bikinis, Tesco jeans and a collection of deliberately ripped t-shirts that looked like they'd been soaking in bleach and suntan oil.

BB8 was piss poor, the all female house was a nightmare. Plus the only decent housemate, Lesley, walked! Which made the series even worse.

BB9 was slightly better but i couldn't stand half the housemates - most notably Luke, Bex, Dale, Alex, Dennis, Nicole, Mohammed, Mikey and Mario.

BB10 had a, mostly, great selection of housemates but all the tasks and twists seemed half-arsed which didn't make it for a very exciting series.

I had forgotten so much of Lea!  I think it was a coping mechanism!   All I can remember about her is that Barbie Doll outfit she went in wearing and of course, being booed on the way in!

It's been all downhill since 5 for me though I thought 9 had potential.

Definitely agree about the horrors in BB9 - but it did have B-block, and some really good tasks.
BB10 kind of fell flat because of lack of live feed, as well as poor tasks. I just couldn't get into it in the same way.

You MUST remember her deep-throating a carrot. And saying her fixation on Pete was "maturrnull". And moping about and wailing: "You've chayynged" when he got sick of her stuffing him down her cleavage.

I was trying very hard to forget!

Now I have these memories floating about in my head!  ARRRRRRGGGGHHHHH!

Nikki actually got on pretty well with Dawn. Dawn said afterwards that Nikki seemed to think of her as a mother figure. The whole "stinky Dawn" nonsense came from a minor incident that was mis-represented by BB's editing. As Demantoid said, it was BB who had a problem with Dawn: there was a battle going on in the background between Dawn and the producers because she didn't like the way they were treating the HMs.



Dawn was also concerned early-on because she felt that several of the HMs shouldn't have been allowed on the show in the first place - she referred specifically to Shahbaz, Lea, Nikki and even Pete. (Dawn never met Sam, of course.) It's interesting to look back on her comments now, as Nikki has recently admitted to lying during the audition process so as to get through the psychological tests...

Biggest mistake Aisleyne did is choosing Spiral to go into the house, then again she can't do no wrong.

I don't think anyone would argue with that - including Aisleyne!

Yup Spiral was one revolting little rapping rat!Roland's evil brother.. but looked alike!
