Why are people people saying it`s Siavash who wants them back?

I`ll re-post the conversation....

Siavash was chatting at the Bus Stop with Bea, Halfwit and Lisa about how earlier this week, he'd given Noirin some valuable earrings. Good job it wasn't his heart or anything valuable like that. And Bea was insistent that he must get them back.

"I can't, that's just ******* rude," argued Siavash. "Just leave the earrings, man."
"It's not rude if I ask!" shrieked Bea. "I think it would be so so rude if she waltzes out with them. Ridiculously rude!"
"You can't give something and take it back," insisted Siavash......
Bea has seen an oppurtunity to stir things again Scotty that is the crux of it.

Maybe she has Jen but my point of posting the conversation is a lot of post on here are accusing Siavash of wanting the earrings back because he didn`t get the girl. That`s just WRONG! He doesn`t want them back!!!

I`m getting exasperated now. Crazy
I know darling I see your point It is her asking on his behalf, he didn't ask for them back she took it upon herself to stir things Hug

Thankyou Jen Hug Bea is insisting but I don`t agree that she`s stirring. I believe she genuinely thinks Siavash should have them back.
Maybe it`s none of her business but I think she thinks it`s morally wrong.

He is whinging about them. Last night he mentioned them and again today they are talked about. He has a mouth he can say forget about the earings. Or like any person not wanting a gift returnd not mention them in the first place.

Siavash is NOT the one wanting them back getting. It`s Bea.

So why mention them to anyone, why did he feel the need to tell them about "the earings"?

You don't hear me talking about the football card I gave Wayne Ryan in 1980.

*looks up Wayne Ryan in the phone book*
*rings*

Wayne, you don't know me, but did you know someone interested in an earthly satellite that gave you a football card some time ago?

.............

Yep, she is talking about you now.

So last night Siavash told Bea and Marcus, in the bathroom, about the earrings. David wandered in and Bea relayed it to him. Then again at the bus stop today the earrings are the topic of conversation again. Bea wants Noirin to give the earrings back, so why not go directly to Noirin and ask her does she have Siavashs' earrings. Problem solved. But instead Bea wants to made a big song and dance about it, which is embarrasing Siavash to no end. To top it all she makes a point of mentioning the earrings to Isaac. Maybe Isaac just offered Siavash the hat to play Bea at her own game. Didn't someone say that Isaac had met Tom (I didn't hear this myself). So if Isaac met Tom, its safe to say that Tom would have told him that Bea was the biggest game player and would try to undermine him at any given opportunity.

Well I suppose Bea thinks that approaching Noirin on Siavash's behalf would be interfering and would make Siavash looking really pathetic. But she is entitled to comment on the situation and to suggest to Siavash he ought to do something about it and to be indignant on his behalf.

Siavash would not have mentioned the earrings to the group if he was not feeling aggrieved about them, but he feels too low and battered and embarrassed to do something about the situation.

Sometimes being a friend is all about egging them on to do the right thing, and Bea is fulfilling that role.

Isaac's behaviour from the account is just provocative and ridiculous and seems to do nothing more than make Siavash look even more pathetic. But I suspect that trying to make people look pathetic is something that the half-ape man specialises in because that is the way he gathers much needed self-esteem.

Without seeing the footage its difficult to know but it sounds to me as if Isaac was challenging Siavash, daring him to stand up to him. He knows Siavash doesnt want the bloody hat fgs, he knows Siavash is uncomfortable around him. He can now justify that he has bought the eariings for his "lady" Sick

I think it was in reply to Bea saying he could pay for the earrings. Why should he pay for them?

We agree again Flossie Valentine Noirin must've told Isaac about the earrings beforehand though, how else could he have known?

I don't understand why he doesn't tell her to give them back, what Guy would want his GF wearing earrings that another Guy had just given to her??Confused

I saw the first conversation on LF, he was not whinging. He was just telling them about his gift. As I asked you before..what`s wrong with telling them? Where did he say he wanted them back? It was Bea who said he should get them back and he said no. We don`t know who started today`s conversation but if you read it again, his mouth is saying forget about the earrings.
You`re surmising his reason for mentioning them is because he wants them back. It was never said.
I must remember never to mention gifts I`ve given to my ex incase folk think I want them back. Laugh

Mount Olympus *Olly*
I'm a bit late arriving in this thread, but I'm going to stick my twopennorth in anyway *adjusts bits Les Dawson stylee*

Firstly..Siavash shouldn't have given such an expensive gift so early in any relationship and Noirin should have declined it (some hope!)
Secondly...Having accepted the gift under false pretences, she should have had the common decency to return in. (some hope..again)
Thirdly....Having given the gift, it would be very bad form for the donor to ask for it's return. (Siavash didn't)
Fourthly...Having told others that he regretted giving Noirin the gift, a friend should have quietly suggested to Noirin that it was her moral obligation to return it(and again...some hope)

Fifthly....failing all the above, Daddy should have told Noirin that retaining the gift makes her look worse in the eyes of both the HMs and the public than she already does. Not good for a player and he should know that.

Finally....As nothing was going to happen, Bea made the whole thing public, and demanded the return of the gift (fair enough).

Outcome...hopefully Noirin will return the gift and the situation will be diffused (I'm not holding my breath)
Kaytee
Imo Siavash obviously thought there was more to him and noirin, Yes she's always mentioned that they were just friends in the house and that she wouldnt like to start something in the house but she already had by flirting and kissing with him regardless of the just being friends im quessing at thinking that siavash thought they were just taking it slow till they got out of the house and all along noirin knew there wouldnt be anything so she shouldnt have accepted but she did so imo she should give them back
