Dunno, but I did walk the length of Sarfend Pier once, if that helps.
And got drenched at a footie match at Roots Hall in the rain.

lol spooky Ninja I stayed over this weekend gone at southend on sea Eeker pmsl we came out of a pub and I said to my friend "mmmm I can smell seafood" to which she replied "it's not seafood...it's the sea that you can smell.." lmao...i'm such a land-locked land-lubber Blush

so I guess even though it is an estuary technically...it does smell like the sea! Smiler

They swim 'up' river don't they or something? (my late Dad would be ashamed of me, he loved fishing (never ate the fish he caught btw Confused ) so I really have rods worth thousands in my shed - he always bought he latest gear/rods/reels etc and had stuff imported, it was his only joy until emphysema killed him. Frowner No one here fishes.

We also went to a fish & chip shop - I was thinking it being on the 'coast' (alright, alright - it's an estuary pmsl) the fish maybe were fresher...I chose a particular fish from a blackboard..I couldnt read the hand-writing..it was 'rock' something....it turned out to be 'rock-eel' Eeker pmsl I had never heard of it before...and it tasted revolting...i was eating 'eel' Sick

Yeah and I love the 'posh' version but the Cardiff does meld at times too imo. (I have studied linguistics and my friend is Prof Rob Penhallurick (books available on Amazon if you want). Smiler
