I have to agree with you, the bald look doesn't suit the shape of her face/head.

She is free to do what she wants.

No I don't think she should wear a wig. She should do whatever makes her feel comfortable and I'm guessing that as she's not worn a wig for the many years she has suffered from alopecia, she ain't going to start now.

I for one think she looks incredible just the way she is.

I think she said years ago ~that she did not like the feel of wigs on her head as they got hot and itchy

Its down to her. Personally I think she was very brave to do away with the wigs and go out bare headed, particularly as she had traded heavily on her looks in the past! I am sure she has had plenty of friends advice her to wear one. Men with alopecia tend to get the opposite advice 'You will look much better without one mate' In the end its down to individual preference.

Suppose it's down to personal choice, but I'm so used to seeing her bald head now, she'd kind of wierd me out if she started wearing a wig.

Wot ever she feels comfortable with i'd say

This sums it up quite nicely.

Also, Gail Porter has said before that her decision to not wear a wig is to raise awareness of the condition, and in support of others (like herself) that suffer from such illnesses.

It might be an unsightly bald head to some, but to others it is inspiration.

Quite right sir, obviously Ms Porter doesn't have a hang up with it, it's the people who think she 'should' put on a wig who are uptight

I saw a prog she did where she met other women with alopecia, and she went down the whole wig route, but basically it was uncomfortable, and she felt 'why the hell SHOULD I anyway?' and she ditched the wig.

And, she looks fab anyway

She's comfortable with how she looks and that's the main thing. I don't see why she should hide behind a wig. If other people are uncomfortable; Tough.

No i dont think she should.Its her choice and if it helps other sufferers feel better about themselves ,then good for her

I wouldn't wear one if I were in her shoes...I bet its lovely and cool in the summer....plus I think we;'re so used to seeing her bald now it wouldn;t look right if she were to put a wig on.
