Astoria's husband has asked me to pass on some sad news.

Astoria died in hospital after a long illness. She spoke while in hospital of her many friends on the forum and how much they had meant to her.

If anyone would like me to pass on their condolences to the family then please contact me.

I remember reading some of her posts when I first joined, and everyone trying to get in contact with her to make sure she knew where we were when the forums shut down. She made everyone feel welcome and will be greatly missed. Please send my condolences to her family.
