As far as I'm concerned it's not about understanding the appeal .............it's about understanding full stop. TBH - I don't really understand Facebook - I'm simply an ole dinosaur

Soozy I joined twitter ages before I ever (and have subsequently left) joined facebook.  It can be quite amusing.  You can follow people even if you don't know them and sit back and laugh at their musings.  For example, through twitter I have learned that Alan Sugar and Piers Morgan really hate each other and quite often have twitter spats.  There is a fake Queen Elizabeth who is also quite funny.  It can take a while to get used to it, but it is worth a go.

I think most folk here know I'm far from a technophobe, but I wouldn't give it (or Facebook) house room.

My only contact with Twitter is helping out in the Update thread.

Extremely Fluffy Fluffy Thing

I joined Twitter in Dec, i was slightly addicted at first as i followed a few of my fav celebs... i dont actually tweet much (only scrabble on phone wins ) but it's not very hard to work out.

You set up a profile and it explains everything else to you as you go along, try it if you're wondering about it Sooz, you never know you might like it

I'm with Marg on this one. I didn't think I would like it but it's great, especially when someone famous tweets you back.

I follow mainly Arsenal footballers, Buffy actors and a few friends from here and the old C4 forums etc.

Have a go Soozy, if you don't like it then you don't have to stick with it. If you need any help there'll be someone here to give a hand
