Both posh accents. One nice person, one not so nice person methinks.

It must boil down to the listener...I think they both have that 'I'm really above this type of conversation' sneer. I wanted to like him....but couldn't.

I've never been bothered by Freddie, felt sorry for him to begin with, he was isolated and must have felt so alone. But since Bea started her house domination game, he has really peeved me with some of the things he has done and said. He is quite happy to go along with her nasty tricks and then tries to justify their behaviour with pathetic excuses. People are quite happy to put all the blame on Bea or Marcus. He is responsible for his own actions and therefore should be judged in the same way. He is happy to go along with isolating other people, and his justification will be, that they deserved it for whatever reason Bea has used to justify her actions to start with. Just because he is the sheep, doesn't make him innocent.

I like Freddie but I have to agree, you've made some good points.

Freddie is so blinded by lust for Bea, he can't see right from wrong. What dissapointed me was how willing he was for Marcus and Bea to round in on David, knowing what he went through with Team Lisa in the early weeks.

I am kind of dissapointed with Freddie at the moment, and I hope Bea is up and out this week.

lol, you really seem easily taken in by Endemol.

We don't even know how that conversation started. It drifted very quickly to wanting to speak like the Queen, which makes me think that the convo about elocution was quite possibly initiated by Rodrigo in the first place.

That program was obviously edited to be anti-Bea, just like their news stories have recently. I'm not really a fan of Bea, but I do find it funny how easily the audience are played.

Totally agree. There was nothing malicious there at all. Roddy was obviously loving it and asking for their help.

I liked Freddie from the start of the show, likewise Siavash. I judged them on what I seen, how they reacted to other people, how they fitted into the group. Like you, I was annoyed at the treatment meted out to Freddie at the beginning by the bullying gang and I admired him for his tenacity in overcoming the odds and not simply walking out. My opinion of Freddie has remained the same since that time, whereas your opinion has changed. He may have become involved with Bea too heavily but intrinsically, he is still the same Freddie. The same nice boy with a lovely kind heart and a lightness of spirt which shines through the fog of nastiness surrounding him.

But it's ok to differ in opinion. Vive la difference, and all that.

Exactly what I was thinking. she's such a silly cow ....really and truly can't stand the sight of her. Patronising bitch Roll Eyes

Rodder has been here since January 2009, I think his english is pretty good, and would have told him so, intead of patronsing him to death by offering him elocution lessons, whether he asked her is not the issue for me. I love Rodders accent, he sounds fine to me.

Yes ........I'm trying very, very hard at the moment. wouldn't be too happy to have a patronising old cow like that sniggering over my attempts though.

She wasnt sniggering and when you get to Rodrigos level you will want people helping you as much as you can. Ive had one of my friends laughing at me as i attempted a word 4 or 5 times. Never could get it right.

Rodrigo is more than capable of going into a hissy fit if he think he is being put upon rather than continue the conversation.

Maybe she did tell him his English was good. But it's obvious that he wants to improve it more.

hi SR .. Freddie is posh but he keeps his poshness well hidden in case anyone thinks he is being patronising. Therein lies the difference between Bea and Freddie. She pushes her supposed poshness down people's throats, whereas Freddie is comfortable just being posh and keeping his own counsel.

She was sniggering, and I think on this occasion Roddy took the mature route and didn't rise to her.
