thanks for that. I'm glad it wasn't Craig Revel Horwood he's the best judge by far. Alesha would be terrific as a judge .

it was rumoured she was going to be sacked after her repeated attacks on john Sargent and the fans after the kept him in all the time! after that the strictly forums wanted her gone sooner rather than later .

Loved Alesha on the show, but she shouldn't be a judge. She's not a professional.

I love Alesha Dixon, she is absolutely stunning and I was thrilled she won SCD.

However, if they want to project a more youthful image onto the programme why not ditch Bruce and Len along with Arlene and start with a new panel of judges.

Yet again, a mature woman is ditched by the BBC.

I post on the SCD forums . I supported Lisa Snowdon to win last year and was the head of her fanclub her mom kept coming on to update us. The friends, family of the celebs come on. Austin Healey even left a message for his fans on there .

Personally I would rather Arlene Philips was replaced by somebody like Camilla Dallerup or Philip Jackson (who used to do the expert commentary and has appeared on It Takes Two.)

Camilla quit and she's not coming back . Kristina Rhianoff is great looking forward to seeing her and Brian Fortuna back .

I recall an article some months ago in which Camilla said she would like to be a judge.
But she has possibly changed her mind.
Yes I agree about Kristina and Brian. Thought they were great additions to the show.

I liked JS last year ROFL . Camilla would be a great judge or even Karen Hardy because there is rumours she's not coming back either .

Hi darlo , rumours at the moment are that it`s possibly going to be Camilla or Karen Hardy as Alesha starts her tour in October. However she was on GMTV this morning and refused to either confirm or deny the rumour . I think she`d be so much better in Tess` job, I can`t get away with her at all and I won`t really miss Arlene, her comments always seemed too scripted.

Can I ask all SCD fans, would you be happy to see Arlene go and why. Thanks.

Her comments are badly scripted and delivered and embarrassing. She tries to talk in sound bites, which is silly.

Well there was rumours before she wanted to spend more time doing her dance choreography and stuff outside of SCD as it took so much of her time up, it wasn't long ago the judges were demanding a pay rise . Lisa was fab last year .

Thanks Lauren. Thats what I was thinking too, if the reason they are giving for her dismissal is to garner younger viewers by installing (perhaps)Alesha Dixon, why the hell is Bruce and Len still there and lets face it, neither Bruno or Craig are in the first flush of youth.
If they just don't want her anymore and then they shouldn't use age as an excuse. She could have them for unfair dismissal.

Lisa Snowdon , she's so pretty and she did amazing to get 3rd place but she should have won lol. Way better than that irritating and false Kelly Brook by far .

I loved Lisa last year and you`re right Kelly Brook was very over-rated. The thing that irritates me with Len is that he always think his opinion always counts and to hell with everyone else, he hates it when people disagree with him. Craig is jsut Craig constructive, gets personal at times but he's only being honest. Bruno is just hyperactive he looks for the dance element but he's fun.


I'm still bitter they never gave Alesha top marks .

Alesha Dixon knows nothing about Choreography or teaching anyone how to dance. Arlene Philips is a world class choreographer and teacher. What lies and rubbish those suits spout. 3 males and one female and they have to appeal to a 'younger demographic' and why not get rid of obnoxious Len.

There are far more better qualified people to replace Arlene then Alesha like Camilla Dellerop, or Karen Hardy two top professionals.

Don't think Alesha should replace Arlene, should be one of the professional dancers.As long as Brucie stays thats the main thing
