not something non trad as such just sick of the same stuff. I'd like a nice piece of steak or beef of some sort & a proper vegetarian menu. Not just pasta crap (cheap bastards).
It might be worth looking into local pubs. A few years ago I went out for a Christmas lunch with a couple I worked for occasionally. They had steak and the veggie option was a hazlenut and goats cheese terrine with a choice of veggies, some traditional, some not.

Not that I could have the terrine, being vegan! But the thought was there. I know what you mean about the pasta though

I can't eat meat (unless I want to be really sick for a couple of days) & am allergic to a lot of additives & stuff so was just hoping to find something different. And I know what you mean about the vege options. They are pathetic & useless.
