Thankfully I'm not in a coastal area so I can stay here near my toilet without worry.

Tbh with my ibs it would be my first thought too

Mine is at it's worst recently and I'm becoming a hermit.  Been trying all different things to no avail.  If I was being evacuated I'd have to ask them to call back in a few hours to get me after the imodium kicks in

On a serious note though I hope it doesn't get too bad (the storm I mean)

Made me laugh too

We're on flood alert which is a bit of a no-brainer considering I'm on the coast.  Fortunately I'm up hill, but we have a stream that runs along the edge of our property and it's pretty high - and so is our well.  It's extremely windy and the tiles are rattling; bluddy noisey!

Fortunately it was a little calmer than that when hubby and I went to Arran. I don't think we'd have gone anywhere but back home if THAT had been facing us!

!  No need for a ferry, just flap your arms and you'll be in Brodick in minutes!

suzy, wish I had thought of the cocktail hour thang
