No.
And I think it just misses us tomorrow too.
Nope.
I believe some parts of Northern Ireland are being evacuated.

I said that the other day...I watched it again over Christmas, wish I hadn't now
I don't think we've got anything coming, but stay safe everyone those that have
Nope.

I hope not. I've got the shits!

It's true though.
Thankfully I'm not in a coastal area so I can stay here near my toilet without worry.
Yup.. on top of a hill though so more worried bout the wind than the flooding ! Was due to stay till Sunday but might make a run for it up the road on Sat . meant to be drier and calmer then

Mine is at it's worst recently and I'm becoming a hermit. Been trying all different things to no avail. If I was being evacuated I'd have to ask them to call back in a few hours to get me after the imodium kicks in
On a serious note though I hope it doesn't get too bad (the storm I mean)

I'm using wilkos equivalent of Imodium it's a lot cheaper and works
Aimee I used to think the cheaper ones were great, then they stopped working for me so I went back to imodium which aren't working great now either so I think I'll go back to the cheaper ones and see how they go!
Laughing at how this has turned from weather to imodium I might need some shortly, roof's creaking here at the shack, not liking this much !

I wasn't expecting that reply .
Apologies for bringing the tone of thread down.

Made me laugh too
We're on flood alert which is a bit of a no-brainer considering I'm on the coast. Fortunately I'm up hill, but we have a stream that runs along the edge of our property and it's pretty high - and so is our well. It's extremely windy and the tiles are rattling; bluddy noisey!

Skinki where are you?
hahah!!! Millport, Isle of Cumbrae Ells .. just off the west coast . For now anyway ! In a wee shack on top of a hill, might end up on Arran at this rate
It's bloody relentless!! This place is actually shaking . wee bit scary !
Blimey Slinks ... you take carexx
one minute we have brilliant sunshine (Oxford) and the next is is driving rain and high winds.
All a bit odd ...
My Dad is, I'm not.
Although I am bordered next to an egomaniac with the fret of him launching nuclear missiles from his new ski resort.

Careful now or he'll accuse you of being "factionalist filth" and eliminate you

Crazy weather ! Stuck here for the duration , ferries are all off .. making a run for home tomorrow between storms though !
sunny Ardrossan.. across the water and down a bit from here !
A bit windy and rather wet - was looking quite thundery this morning, but it came to nothing.
Got the drains cleared a wee while ago, so no danger of flooding.
I didn't think I was in the scary zone but it turns out I was. I thought my windows were going to get smashed in with the rain
It's a little calmer now, but I might have to move cocktail hour forward a little to steady my nerves.

Fortunately it was a little calmer than that when hubby and I went to Arran. I don't think we'd have gone anywhere but back home if THAT had been facing us!

! No need for a ferry, just flap your arms and you'll be in Brodick in minutes!
suzy, wish I had thought of the cocktail hour thang

A golf umbrella - and the world's your oyster!
Hahah! A golf brolley and you'll be in Northern Ireland in two minutes flat!
This is Largs earlier today

OMG Slinki! Did you take that pic? Stay well back!
I didn't , nope! Not ventured out, and not planning to ! It is calming down a bit now though thankfully
Looks like noon to early afternoon on Saturday would be a good time to make your escape. A light breeze blowing from the south, dry or light rain.
Very scary here and since last night....branches ripped off trees
went to the beach earlier and there were sand twisters high as houses
high tide will be interesting
South Wales...the Gower coast is where I am
My bedroom ceiling almost gave in, rain pouring through on one side. Buckets, pots and pans everywhere! Got the man here just in time for a temporary fix.
