On the other hand if i was advising er, Red Ed (sic) I would tell him to grow a beard and go back to wearing glasses.
I agree with Lord Sugar in that history will be kind to Gordon Brown.
I just pray that one of the two main parties gets an absolute majority. We can then plan and budget. Please Bog! No crisis of hegemony and no sniff of power for all the carp parties, especially the nationalists.
I have just seen a party political broadcast by the Labour party. Martin Freeman was the mouthpiece and I have to say he did more to convince me to vote Labour than any Labour politician so far.
Martin Freeman should be the Labour party leader.
I remember a local BBC Look North journalist who switched from TV to politics, but I can't remember his name and I think there was an ITV chap also, again I can't recall his name, but his face is familiar in my minds eye.
Edit:
Austin Mitchell - Journalist on Calendar 1969 to 1977.

I agree EC. I was impressed by his concise delivery. Within a few seconds I wanted to listen till the end.
I doubt that he was on the same wages as Freeman like!

I saw that he was going to do that, but didn't see the broadcast. I'll have to see if it's on catch up.
I have never liked Ed Milliband. I have thought all along his brother would have been a better man for the job...
How many times will we hear " Hard Working Families" ?? Do you think there is some kind of competition between them all ? Who ever says the most on one day , gets a lollipop
I want to be clear on this ....
My dad used to call Tony Blair, blah blah Blair
Having watched several Milliband speeches. I have to say I am not convinced. Not so much about the content but in the way he comes across. He seems so 'wooden', no passion or conviction
