There was an onslaught of cat jokes towards the end.
Well I enjoyed that.......made me laugh out loud....

Made me remember watching comedy of that time with my Dad and pretending I didn't get it, while he suppressed a smile.....
I was a fan of the original Porridge, loved a lot of the old sit-coms. I even tuned into the odd episode of Terry and June.

I wonder why they changed the names slightly for Porridge.

I was also a fan of the more racier Liver Birds and that naughty couple in The Good Life.

Bought that on DVD recently.
I always find this programme somewhat sad because of Richard Beckinsale.....
To technical for me to follow, or find funny......this one has lost it's 'innocence' for me.......

Seems like a carbon copy of the original.......it is making me smile (even if it is only because of how well they are portraying the original)
